Hey, welcome back to when our YouTube Pro. In this video we're going to talk about creating your YouTube video. So there's a couple different ways to do this. There's the review away, there's the salesy way, there's kind of silly video. Okay, we've all seen the silly videos that get a lot of ranks that kind of go viral. we've, we've actually gone through our YouTube ninja method, we found these videos, we've, we've had these people with a lot of views because they're their cat can dance.
You know, we've taken links and we've put them underneath these videos. And we've tried to make the link to a product that's kind of relevant but you know, one problem is that it's hard to find a relevant product for my cat condense video, you know, are my kids dressed up like a squirrel and he can dance video. It's, it's tough to find a relevant product for that market because you really don't know who the market is. So we've done that we've contacted these people, we've put our links underneath videos, we found that the the clicks in the in the conversions once they got to the sales pages weren't always that great. Okay, so I tend to stay away from this silly kind of videos that are just funny and entertaining, because entertainment sells, but to a degree, okay, we don't want it to be too entertaining.
We still want it to be informative. So the two best really are the reviewer video or the sales video. So the reviewer video is simple, easy, is a quick product review, okay. He talks about the product, you show the product, you demonstrate the product, you give some information, some background, you focus on the benefits of the product, okay? What they're actually going to get out of it. You know, what, what fears or frustrations that are that are going to be solved when they use this product.
Focus less on the features, you know Exactly what the product has but focus on the benefits that are salesy type of video script is going to be more like a play on emotions, you're going to give personal testimonials of how it worked for you, you're going to kind of be the advertiser, you're going to be the marketer. You don't really demo the product as much, okay, you just really talk about the benefits and really kind of hammer that home. And just really talk about you know, your experiences and kind of give that testimonial testimonials are very powerful. Reviews are very powerful. My advice, make two videos for your products, one review video, one sales video, and just test them see which one tests better than the other. see which one gets more clicks, see which one gets more buys when people actually get to the sales page.
Now when it comes to recording your video, you really don't need much all you really need to record a good quality video is Camtasia Okay, now there's free versions of Camtasia. Okay, there's also gene which is another software Camtasia is great though. I think for around 200 bucks if you want the professional version, you can record you can record anything on your screen. Okay, so you can record a PowerPoint, you can record yourself going through a website and demoing a website Camtasia will also kind of link up with your video camera on your your webcam on your computer, you can record yourself. Okay, so you pretty much Camtasia can do everything for you. And then Microsoft PowerPoint is a really great presentation software.
Okay, right now you're watching this video, and I use Microsoft PowerPoint. You know, for 10 bucks a month, you can have access to the to the 2013 Microsoft Office Suite which gives you PowerPoint Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and a bunch of other stuff. So you can also find this stuff, you know, kind of for free, there's free versions of PowerPoint. There's free versions of pretty much everything. I just I like the Sure thing. And I've always really enjoyed PowerPoints very user friendly.
And then a good microphone, because typically is typically going to go a long way for you. And actually, as I record this video right now, I'm recording this video on a Blue Yeti USB microphone. So it's, it's not quite a professional microphone. I mean, it is. It's not it plugs into the USB, okay, so I don't have like professional sound equipment. But if you notice this video right now, and if you're listening to it sounds a lot more professional than the very first video that we did for this series.
The very first video we did was on creating your own product so you can go back to that question. And you can really tell the difference in the way I sound. Okay? So go back through that, and you'll know what I'm talking about. But those are really all you need, you know, a good screen capture software, PowerPoint, or some kind of presentation software and then a good microphone and you're good to go. And this doesn't have to be expensive.
Okay. You can do all this for free. A microphone is going to be a little bit more expensive. If you want the one I have the Blue Yeti, but you can always go and just buy something in the interim, that at least is better than speaking directly into your computer into that internal microphone that it has. Okay. Anything soundproofing?
Anything that blocks out the noise around you is going to help out a lot. So a couple Video Tips. For one you want to use appropriate keywords in the video title. Okay, So we'll include a video on how to actually do your keyword research to make sure that you know how to use that Google Keyword Tool. Because once you find your product, you're going to want to go into the Google Keyword Tool, you're gonna want to type in that website for the product, and just see what keywords are being used to actually get to that product, what people are searching for, and ending up at that product. And then you'll take those keywords and you'll find some related keywords and you're going to use all these keywords in your video title.
If it's a review, you'll use that product name okay in the title, so if you're promoting the truth about abs, the health and fitness product on Clickbank that's pretty much been around for a really long time and is still making a lot of money. In fact, if that's an area or a niche you're wanting to promote that's a great one truth about abs. But basically you would say truth about ABS review. Now if you go to YouTube and type that in, you're probably going to find a lot of videos on the truth about as reviews so don't get discouraged. You know, just look at those views, like I said, and you may be able to outrank it. You want to name the benefits the product offers in the title.
Okay? So you could say product, you could say truth about ABS review. Or you could say truth about abs, you know, six pack solution. Okay? So that's a benefit, okay? People want a six pack.
I mean, that's the whole point of truth about ABS really is is getting really lean and getting in shape. Okay. You could also mention a problem the product solves, okay, so the video title could be lose your gut with truth about abs. So either way, you want to make sure that these are keywords that people are searching for. So lose your gut would be a key word. Truth About ABS would be a key word.
And together, you've got a powerful dominant force here, that's going to skyrocket your rankings in YouTube and just make sure that you're using keywords and phrases that people are actually searching for. Okay, so like I just said, you want to make sure that you're going into Google Keyword Tool. And these are keywords that are getting at least 1000 searches per month. We want to make sure that the competition is low to medium, okay, you don't want really, really high competition, but just that sweet spot, you know, a good amount of use, not too competitive. I think keep the video under five minutes, people will lose interest if it's too long. So remember, a good video on YouTube, they let you go 15 minutes, but it really probably shouldn't take that long for you to demonstrate quickly, and briefly the benefits and features of a product.
So keep it short and sweet. Talk about the benefits, get people excited. appeal to the emotions, and then get out of there. It's better to have a bunch of videos than just one long video. That's perfect. Okay, remember We're going after 98% perfection here.
So you don't have to get too crazy with this, okay? It doesn't have to be extremely professional. Okay, it just needs to get the job done, because that's what's going to make you money. In the next video, we're going to talk about how to actually get traffic to your video and YouTube. So we'll see in the next video
