Here in lesson 70, we're going to look at the intro for guitar Boogie, one of Tech's great instrumental songs, and I taught most of the song in lessons 37 and 38. And now we're going to take a look at the intro. And it's in the key of G and it goes something like this into the song So what I'm doing is starting on the double stop and the key of G, first position, blue Xbox, get into double stop at the third fret first and second string coming down on the fifth fret of the second string, so we got that he's gonna do a double stop and bend up. Just kind of quickly. I hear two strings. I used to think I heard just one string but I'm pretty sure he's playing too.
Strikes the sixth fret of the first string, fifth fret of the second string. And then he repeats it. The series of pull offs from the sixth to the fifth to the third on the first string, second string, third string and wind up on the fifth fret of the fourth string. So let's play that whole thing slowly. And that's when I'm pretty sure he's planning to kick off the instrumental guitar bulky. Now while we're here, I neglected to show you the end tag for guitar Boogie.
So I'm gonna throw that in here as kind of a bonus. And what he does is just real simple, using the double stop slides on the first and second string, so when the tune is winding up from the five to the four to the one you've got So what we're doing there is just these double stop slides and G we're starting from the second bar chord position 10th and 12th fret, you can check the tab on this pickin slide. Like that, so stay in the pattern. He's gonna choke it off. Here first position g knife core as the last core. So that is the end tag for guitar Boogie.
So in this lesson, you got the introduction. And I also threw in the end tag because I didn't have room for it on the end tag lesson.
