Lesson 95 we're going to take a look at a really cool lick from one of Jack's more obscure songs, called everyday we rock and roll in the KFC yet another tune called Merrily We rock and roll, which is really the same song. Both of these songs feature some really cool single string guitar rounds played very fast. And one of these licks that he uses in the everyday we rock and roll goes like this, if you can notice the difference between this and what we've talked about so far. So we got some different stuff and now we're starting playing this in the key of C. So we got this but then he goes into this band in the 11th fret of the first string with my first finger anchored on the A Benson three times and I started doing this going back and forth between the eighth fret and the 11th fret with a little band each time.
After the third one, he goes 11 810 very different. So check this out. Check the tab and listen to the original song but the idea is not just the quick runs it kind of pauses And bands that one note, without any kind of double stop, he doesn't do that very often. So that's kind of a neat difference that you can mix that single string band in with. Quick single string rounds played in that first blues box. So that again is from the song everyday we rock and roll and that's also in the KFC.
