What's up everybody? In this lesson we're going to go over the bonus feature in communist slum village. Shout out to dilla. Okay, it can be played if you practice and take the time. So we're gonna start with the right hand because the good thing about it is it's only two chords. first chord is F minor seven, followed by E flat minor seven.
So let's go to the first chord. In the right hand F, A flat, C, E flat. next chord, flat, F sharp, B flat. I'm using my thumb, index, middle finger and ring finger but you can use your pinky if you want to do whatever is comfortable. So the rhythm is Okay, so now the baseline which is the hard part, go and take practice. So there's two separate lines.
This is the first one. Second one. So let's call the first one. You start with E flat, twice f again, Back to the E flat so you go, let me just give you the notes flat, E flat, F, F, E flat, a flat plane slow. First time around, second time around is see how it went down to the bottom, B flat. Then back up a flat B flat.
So the first one is second one again second one So the only difference when the second one is B flat, E flat and then you put them together, which is the hard part. So we're gonna start really, really, really slow because this takes a lot of practice, but you can get it you can get it Now sometimes it will be hard to play these chords like, twice like I'm doing. Sometimes you might want to hold him But the trick is to get the rhythm right, you have to do this second Hit, hit the bass at the same time that that will help you so right there Hopefully that will help you give you a hint on how to do it. Okay. speed it up a little bit. Now if that's still too difficult, I'm going to show you a modified version of this.
And it will still impress folks, I believe. Let's try it. So in my left hand, I'm going The right hand is still doing the same thing. But in my left hand I'm going E flat, a flat, E flat, a flat. So that will be easier for you and you can speed that up once you get better. One more thing I forgot to mention, the fingers that I'm using is this for my left hand for the baseline, middle finger for that E flat, index finger for the F to the E flat with the middle finger, thumb on the a flat means laying it down to the B flat.
I'm using my pinky practice
