Now there's one more thing that I want to show you, kind of as a bonus, it doesn't really have much to do with Facebook. But it is, it is something really cool. You can add your blog here now that we're here. Basically what you would do is go back to your dashboard. Let's go to plugins. Let's go to Add New.
So the one thing we're kind of missing here on our blog, is we don't really have an opt in form. Okay, so on my Facebook page, I've got a place people can go and opt in. It's, it's okay, you know, I've got my got my VIP list here. Just kind of a little example we threw up obviously we'd have a better form up here than this. But, but really, we want to have our squeeze page we want to have our opt in form everywhere. Okay.
So here, we just come in and plug in Type in AWeber awesome. Okay, so we've got our AWeber integration, click on install now. Perfect, successfully install the plugin AWeber integration 2.2. Click Activate. And here we go. So here from the AWeber integration, all we really need to do is go up to appearance, go to widgets, and find the AWeber.
So there's the raw HTML, which is the old version, and then the new JavaScript version. All you need to do is click and drag this let's put this in the right sidebar. And then it wants to get our JavaScript snippet that you get from AWeber when you create your list and your forms should have gone through the tutorial on the email marketing section on AWeber. But I'll go ahead and give you a quick breakdown. All you need to do is sign into your AWeber account, you come down to your lists, and you choose the list with the form that you want. So this is just a sample.
Basically I choose the list, then I click on web forms. You should have already created your webform. If not go back and follow those AWeber trainings there should walk you through all this on how to do this. But essentially all you do is come here to publish. This is the form I'm going to put on my blog. And then just get the JavaScript snippet.
Awesome. Right click copy and then bring that bad boy right back here and paste save Go back to break free from fat. Okay, so now on my webpage on my blog, I've got a cool autoresponder here, straight from AWeber. I just put the JavaScript snippet in, and it's right here ready to go. People can come in and enter their name and email, bam, goes right back to my email list. And now I can start building a list.
Okay, it's kind of a bonus thing I want to show you. And then I'll go one step further. As long as from AWeber. You go in and make sure that when you go into your form, then step two. You check this box, it says enable Facebook registration form. What's gonna happen is that as long as somebody comes to your site, and they're logged into Facebook, I'm gonna go ahead and log into Facebook right now.
As long as they're logged in They're going to see this cool, automated Facebook login. Okay, so all they have to do is click Register. And it kinda kind of gives a double opt in here, which basically means they clicked register, but it's going to confirm that they want to register for your list, all I have to do is click Continue. And they'll go to your AWeber thank you page. And since I'm already subscribed with that email address, then it's going to tell me I'm already subscribed. But if I'm not, it's going to take me to whatever thank you page you set up in your autoresponder and your list.
So this is a really cool tool. And the main reason that this is really awesome is that it's going to lower the barrier for entry to your mailing list okay, so visitors to your site, they don't have to type anything in in order to subscribe. And also the email addresses collected this way are gonna be more likely to be valid and active. So since the address that Facebook for Through the registration forms the same one we just used to sign up for Facebook account. Okay? And then there's no chance for typos.
Okay, so nobody's going to type in the wrong email. So the email address is going to be transmitted directly from Facebook to your web form. So that's pretty awesome. Okay, so now we've got pretty good blogger we started from nothing really. And now we've got a cool stream from our Facebook page, we've got posts that are completely synched up and linked up with our Facebook page. So whenever we post will, this post will go right back to our Facebook page.
So obviously, I'm going to set up a breakthrough free from that Facebook page and get that all customized to link up with this blog. And then obviously set up a profit insiders blog to link up with the profit insiders page. We just haven't set up a blog yet. At this point. You've got pretty much everything you need to integrate your Facebook page completely with your blog. So go ahead and go back to your blog, download the simple Facebook Connect plugin.
Integrate that with Facebook, go back to this video as much as you need to, to see how to do that. And then also you'll want that AWeber widget to to make sure that you have your opt in form on your, on your blog here, okay? So, you know, if you have good content, if you've got great posts, and you deliver and people are wanting to know they're gonna want to learn more, okay, so anything you have in here, newsletter, free report, anything like that is going to get you mad likes and lots of people registering for your email list. So I hope this video was helpful. Hope you got a lot out of this. Go take some action and we'll talk in the next video.
