So click on this statistics button of your channel or video, you could see how many views the video is currently getting. So say like on this x video have sort of my highest viewed videos, you could see that at one point, I was getting 75,000 clicks per day. So you can go to any video on YouTube, from your channel or another, and you click the statistics button. And you can see a nice little graph that will show you the entire history of views for that video. Now, here's another little trick, you click, you switch it to daily here, and it'll show you how many views that video was getting per day. How much now how much previously and this will really give you some insight into that video.

You can kind of see what some of them like oh, it kind of peaked here. Like maybe they did a video about Halloween during Halloween time. And obviously it's gonna get a lot of views during the month of October but then it kind of dies after that. And then maybe next year around October again, it gets more views Exactly. For obvious reasons. During the month of October, maybe there's some video you want to do something similar to another channel, you're like, Oh, this video has a lot of views.

I want to do something similar to that on my channel. However, when You click that daily button and you see Oh yes, it has however many hundreds of millions of views or 10s of millions of views. But look, now it's not getting hardly any views on a daily basis. That video long peaked ago, maybe two, three years ago it kind of, you know, a lot of views in one go and then it kind of just died and now it's almost getting nothing at all. So it might look like it's getting a lot of views but the reality is, it's not so this is a little bit of extra research, you should be doing interviews to just see like how much views they're actually getting now today on a daily basis. So this little trick that I just showed you is a great tool to use going forward when you're thinking of concepts for videos, because again, you might see a video that looked like I had a lot of views but when you click that daily button and you see ah you know what, it's not getting a lot of daily views now.

It kind of died. Definitely something you want to take into account when picking your video ideas and this is a great tip, a great tool.
