So far in this step, you've learned that an event plus an emotion equals a memory. And you are practicing and becoming better at not only thinking, also learning to feel your English, that way, we're improving and transforming our communication, not only in how we speaking, but also how we think about it, and how we feel the language. You're also learning how to connect the meaning with the sound in a ridiculous or unusual way to help you make it completely easy, natural and magically automatic to retain any word that you want. Now let me show you an impressive memory skill. I want you to imagine what I'm saying and not think nor get anxious or tense trying to remember absolutely anything. So, number one, put a hat on top of the number one.

What consonant do you get? First, we'll get the key. So number one equals P. Now take a look at number two. Now imagine number two is tired. So it lays down sideways to see what letter Do you see now? And then let's do the same thing for the number three.

What letter Do you see if the three goes sideways to sleep? Now we have the letter and right now, take a look at the number four. What is the last letter in the number four? Of course is z r Right. So if you switch the four, and you add a little leg, you can see that eight is transformed into one are. Good.

Let's go to a number by. And if you see my five fingers you can see the shape of what consonant lands. Right, can you see the L? symbol, right? Five is L. Now, for the six, you need a little bit of creativity. If you flip it around, and you kind of opened the stomach from the six, we can have the letter J.

Remember, number six would be the letter J. Seven is g. y. Don't ask me why. Just remember seven is our space. case, I really don't see any similarity between the seven and the G. But this is unusual, right? We are not seeing any connection between this, which makes it strange or different.

That's why you will very easily remember that the number seven is the letter G, right, or the letter G represents the number seven. Great. Good, we're almost finished. Take a look at the number eight. Now try to cut the number eight in half. What letter do you get?

Of course, you can clearly see me here, right. Now, the eight is represented by a B or by a V. Good. Consider these two letters as the eight, B or V. Got it. Now, take a look at the number nine Probably now you can tell me what letter should represent this number. If you said p, congratulations. That's exactly right.

So the P represents at nine. And finally, we have the number 00. I hope you're pronouncing this correctly by now. And that you can find out or imagine what letter represents the number zero. Of course, the Z write, or the s, let's have the Z or the s as the letters that represent zero. Okay, so now you have a very useful code that will help you with your memory in unimaginable ways.

But first, let's demonstrate that How you could completely memorize these 10 codes effortlessly. Remember, you were not studying, you're not trying to repeat or remember, and I guarantee that at least 80% of these codes are easily and immediately stored in your memory. Let's check them shall we? Number one is t number two. And number three, M. Good. Number four, behind our five, l six.

You remember six. Thank you to Jay. The seven is a special case remember what letter is that? Of course now you know it's a G. Now if you think of the eight, you automatically think of the letter B and what other letter V nine is P and finally, zero is z is good to see how easy it was to memorize this bit of code without any need of studying. What are we doing? We're only connecting.

That's all we need to learn to prove our memory to connect. Okay, so now that you have this code, please memorize this number. Come on, it's only 10 digits. You find it tiring, boring, exhausting, frustrating. Maybe right? Let me ask you this question.

Why do you think it's so boring, annoying, frustrating and maybe difficult to memorize a number like this? Well, numbers mean nothing. They are the most abstract information with combined. So there's no connections, there's no feelings. There's no images that we can create with numbers to help us give meaning and significance to them and allow us to digest, retain and use this information. locally.

Now we have a code that can help us give meaning to the most abstract things in the world, such as numbers. Now, let me help you effortlessly naturally in a very fun way, memorize these 10 digit number. However, literally, it could be a 20 3050 or even 100 digit number. And you could immediately memorize this number. If you took the time. Of course 100 digits might take 20 or 30 minutes.

It's a big number, but I guarantee that you now have the skill to keep 100 digits in your mind, thanks to these powers of connection that we're learning. So let's start with these 10 digit number. And then you can do the hundred digits by yourself if you want. If you don't, you can use this formula to memorize your credit card number, your bank account, your Social Security, your ID, no, whatever you want. And at the end of this lesson, I'll show you how to use this technique to help you with your English vocabulary. We're going to connect this formula with your English Don't worry about it.

So look at this number again. And this is what we do to memorize this number you ready? Okay, so the first thing you need to do is divide the number in digits of two. So now we have 8520 7239 and 08. Now, what do you think we should do next? If you're guessing that we should transform these numbers into the letter codes that we have, you're exactly right.

And with a little practice, these will become very quick to do. So right now from the top of my memory, I can say that the eight is a B, and the two is an N. I'm sorry, the eight is a B, the five is an L. Two is an N, zero is a Z, or an S. Seven is a G. Two is an N, three m, nine, P, zero, S, or Z, an eight, V, or V. So now we transformed our number into a letter code. Now, do you think it's easier to memorize this code now to memorize these letters? I don't think so. Because again, these letters mean nothing. They're completely abstract.

So that makes If difficult for your brain to retain them, so what can we do? Yes, you're exactly right, we should take these letters and transform them into words. Now, the only rule when you're transforming numbers into words is that these words should be very easy for you to imagine. Right? If I form the word cat, you can immediately start imagining a cat. But if I form the word, responsibility, or discipline, that might be a little more complicated to imagine it's more of an abstract word, right?

So make sure that the words you create are very easy to imagine. Take a look at the first two digits eight and five or be an L. What word can we create that we can easily imagine? with a B? l I'm thinking of the word bowl. But do you think Can you imagine a bowl? Remember, imagine with as much detail as you can.

For me, I'm imagining a basketball, that it's completely orange and very clean. It's shining, because it's so clean. That's my bowl. And bow. The image of the bowl represents right 85. Right.

Good. Let's go to the other two digits 20 and s. Take a look at my notes. Right? to zero can be a notes the image of a notes represents 20 moving on to the third pair 72 G NGN. Gone, right. I think it's pretty easy to imagine and gone.

So let's keep that gone for 72 next pair 39 m p, we could think of a map, right? I'm a basic kind of simple to imagine. And finally, the last pair 08, z and B. What about zebra? I love imagine zebra because they're so easy to picture right? Now.

As you can see the word zebra has a Z, then the B and then they are, but we are only taking into account the first two consonants of every word. If you find more consonants, they don't matter. completely ignore them. Okay? we're only looking for the first two consonants of each word. All right, so now we've transformed our digits into letters into words.

Let's get to the final step. Now, the only thing you left for us to do is to connect one word to the other to the other and to the other, to form a chain of images that contain our number codified. For these, I need only your imagination. Don't think don't analyze, don't try to remember, nothing. The only thing I need you to do is to form a clear image. Hold it for two or three seconds in your mind and let it go.

Let it flow. You might feel a little anxious, because you might feel that you will remember you will forget whatever you're imagining. Don't worry about it if you're forming the image, and if you're seeing it and not thinking that you're seeing the image, it will stay with you. Trust your memory in this respect. And once you saw the image connected it, let it go eliminate this anxiety. That's your worst enemy in this exercise.

Okay? So that's connected. Okay, so our first word is ball. And remember the pronunciation ball not boiling right ball. Now, I want you to imagine me holding a basketball. Maybe I'm bouncing the ball, or maybe I'm even holding it on top of my head.

Whatever you see, just hold that image for a couple of seconds. And now let's move on to the second model. keep seeing the ball. Forget about me for now. And see this ball and on top of the ball, see a nose, a big big nose like mine, maybe or even bigger. Right?

So I want you to see the ball touching the nose. That's very important. And make it ridiculous. I mean, a ball with a nose. It's ridiculous enough I'm even seeing maybe some blood on the nose, going through the bowl. I'm sorry if this is a little disgusting, but remember, details are the things that help the mind.

Remember, once you see the bowl with the notion top, forget about the ball and keep with the nose. Now, connect the nose would have gone, how you can do it wherever and however you want. I don't know why I'm seeing a big nose with guns sticking out of one of the nose trails. If you're seeing anything different, perfect, just make sure that the gun and the nose are touching very clearly. Pull the image see the detail for two or three seconds. Let it go.

Now, keep the image of the gun and put a map in the corner maybe you're seeing a gun on it. map. Or maybe I'm imagining a gun that's shooting and when it's shot, I see a map coming out of the gun. You see like the bang, a joke or toy guns, instead of a bank sign I'm seeing a map coming out and I'm seeing all the world seeing the detail of the map, seeing the blue oceans, the brown continents coming out of the gray, hot, gone. DC I'm seeing all this detail. Forget about the gun, keep the image of the map and connected with zebra.

I'm seeing it right now. But this time I will let you connected. Remember, see that map and the zebra touching somehow in the most ridiculous way or unusual way that you can imagine? When you do that, let it go. Congratulations just like that. You just learned and memory 10 digits.

And I think you can believe me. Now, if I told you that if we were memorizing 2030, even 40 digits, just need to keep connecting images just need to keep creating a ridiculous story that's fun to make, and exciting to remember and codify or actually the codified, right? So let's see if this worked. Let's the codify our number. Are you ready? Okay, so it is your turn to check if you memorize this number, right?

So pause the video and check first the images that come to your mind. Right first, think of me what do I have on my hands. Once you get that image, you'll notice how the chain of images happens automatically. The only thing you need to do is to think of the words and quantify the numbers. I'm holding the That means what is the first number? Bo is a, b and L, which means 85.

Pause the video and try to do this for yourself. Oh, wait. Okay, so I'm sure you could do it, or at least most of it. If you had any trouble remembering some things, this is great. It's telling you that you need to focus a little bit more on connecting and imagining your images. Good.

I love this technique. This is something that you can use to impress your friends. You can just ask them to write down 30 2010 whatever digits and once you become good at this, you will be able to do this in seconds. You codify imagine and connect the images in a few seconds. So practice if you like this. Maybe you'll enjoy the exercise.

Now, before we close, let me show you really quickly how you can use this number codes to help you retain, organize. And remember your new vocabulary. Do you remember what letter is represented by the number one? We have the letter P, right? So now let's create an image for that number, t cup of tea. I want you to imagine a cup of tea.

That will always represent your number one. Now for number two, remember the letter and what about na. Remember from the Bible, the guy with the big arc and the person finals. Maybe you can imagine the arc or an old man with a long white beard, but that will represent our number two. Number three letter M will be represented by the image Have some delicious m&ms. I love imagining a big m&m, Blue m&m with eyes and hands and feet and everything.

Alright. Now for the number four for the letter R, we will think of the image of our rock, picture our rock. That will represent our number four, or five or the L. We have the word law. Remember the pronunciation law. And maybe you can represent the word law by a hat a policeman's hat. A blue policeman's hat represents the law that will help you remember six j, whatever the jewel, a diamond or an emerald apparel if you want, but the number six must be represented by any shiny jewel that you want.

Now, seven G. Let's use an image of goofy. For number seven. Picture Goofy, and make sure you can clearly see him. You're thinking on seven. Number eight, letter B. We could think of a boa constrictor this dangerous and strong and gigantic snake will be our letter a bore nine.

Think of a delicious pie. I love apple pie, but you can think of a lemon pie, strawberry pie, pineapple pie, whatever you want, right. And finally, for the zero, we'll keep an image of the zoo. Whenever I think of this zoo, I can see the gates of my zoo. You might be seeing a lion in a cage or whatever image that represents a word Zoo for you, you can use. Good.

Now you have some folders and the only thing you need to do to remember your new vocabulary and organize it is connect the folders with your new words. For example, in a few sessions, we talked about the word Phantom, right? And I imagined the Phantom of the Opera. So if you simply imagine the Phantom of the Opera, and connected with your cup of tea, I don't know maybe the Phantom is swimming backwards or taking a bath on your cup of tea and you can clearly see the tea and the Phantom. You will remember that in your first folder, you have your new word, Phantom. You can keep going and connect your second Noah The second folder with another word serendipity.

So you might want to add to the image of Noah, et shaking his hand or something, whatever you want. Good. So next time you find a new word, you feel these new word, like we saw on the first part of this step, then you connect the meaning and the sound of this word in an unusual way, then you can save it into one of your folders. When you find your word, go to the next folder and connect it this way. If you're in a rush, or if you're in a real situation, you don't need to stop your conversation. To write down the new words, you can simply save them very effectively in your head.

Wow. So this was a little intense session, right? But I hope that you realize that by now you have the power to memorize basically anything that you want It doesn't matter if it's words, corrections or big numbers. So take the things you like from these lessons, apply them to real life, play with them, and take an implement what works and start using it consistently. Because guess what? The benefits never stop.

The more you use this information, the more you will learn, the more you will memorize and the better you will get at creating connections. Your memory will thank you for that. Okay, let's close it here. Thank you for your patience today. And I'll see you for the next step where we will work with giving you amazing and powerful structure to your English communication. My name is Jay and I hope that you stay well.
