Lastly, I'm going to show you the experience on an actual Android device. So I'm using my computer and I'm capturing the footage from my smartphone. And we're going to start by going to Google Chrome. And you can see that I have our project loaded up here already, you'll notice that there's an Add to Homescreen. banner at the bottom. And so we're going to click on this, and we're going to click Add.
And now if we go to where our apps are located, you can see that we have our app icon here now, and our short name of just portfolio. When we open it, you can see that we have a real splash screen, and then it loads into the project. The video background might take a few seconds to load and at first when you deploy it, it might take a few hours. So you can see that our video has not yet loaded here. Okay, so now you can see that the video has loaded properly, we can do something cool here. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to turn on airplane mode.
And I'm going to close our project here. So I'm going to close this, and I'm going to close Chrome as well. And we're going to go back to our projects, and we're going to click on it. So we have no internet right now. And you can see that our page has still loaded. And that includes the video background, despite the fact that we're currently offline.
All right, I think that that's pretty awesome to see. So that's it for the course. Congratulations on making it to the end. I hope you've learned a lot from the process and Now you can build any website into a progressive web app. Don't forget to share the link to your project with the class. Alright, I'll see you in the conclusion.
Bye for now.
