Shoulder roles. Similar to the look left look right exercise this exercise is actually a stretch as well. Its main use is to remind the body of its proper posture, especially in the shoulder girdle, chest, ribcage and torso. It will restore range of motion in the shoulders and the rotator cuff muscles. Additionally, it acts as an exercise so it does strengthen the shoulders and help help them to support your neck in a better way. Just the small movement of the shoulders actually brings fresh blood and nutrients to the area, helping to heal any adhesions helping to lengthen the tissue and heal the muscles and the nerves.
Do this exercise slowly and mindfully and go and both directions to the front end to the back.
