Hello in this jQuery video I am going to show you how to detect when something has been resized, we're going to apply the selector on the window. Basically the web browser, so close these tabs actually don't need them and some of the dialogue on its neck the winner, winner for Windows, you don't put in quotation marks, we saw you in line method and now what we are going to do is console dot log resize resize event has occurred. So resize. Okay, so if I reload it, if I resize it, as you can see, it's being triggered when we do from the left, the bottom the right Right will be the same sign if we do from the corner. So we do, you know resizing multiple directions, it all will trigger the resize event. So if you maybe have a gain, for example, or something else that's dependent on the size of the window or the ratio, you could use this resize method to do one of two things, either, you know, inform the user, you know what they're doing, or you're potentially adjust the content on there that is really useful.
So that's it for this video. If you have any questions, feel free to pop me a message. And as usual, I look forward to seeing you in the next tutorial.
