Let's jump into the introduction section. So for the introduction, it's well an introduction. So here's where you can choose to introduce your vision, introduce your product, tell a story. Talk about cryptocurrency in general, insert interesting graphics to draw users in. Talk about how this product creates a new ecosystem. And so there are also examples where you can not include an introduction and go straight into the product or the market or whatever you want.
There's a lot of ways to make it work. Let's take a look at some examples. Let's look at the coin starter white paper. And so for example, they have table of contents and then they go into abstract and introduction will do abstract class. So let's go to introduction. Here we go.
We open with a quote, all truth passes through three stages. First, it's ridiculed. Second, it's violently opposed. And third, is accepted as being self evident. It's a great way to open powerful quote. And so then they go on to describe the climate with respect to cryptocurrency.
This is pretty cool here. So and now they look at cryptocurrency and Icos in general, compared to the venture capital model. So they talk about VCs, they go down, you don't have to be as wordy and see here's some graphics here to kind of illustrate the use how user growth will affect their product. Any talk about Icos in general and show demonstrate their understanding. So you can do this you can choose whatever you want to open with and then they go into the Ico market here. Talk about how much money is being spent.
And he talked about problems with the Ico market. And then, after this, they go into blockchain in general. This is the rather lengthy introduction, then they go problems with the crowdfunding market. You don't have to be this mighty but you can do whatever you want. And so they go into products and solutions. Let's take a look at another one.
This look at basic attention token. So this is a very dry more technical white paper, they go directly from the introduction section to go directly into the value prop, where they start buying property, go write an introduction. And once again, they open with a good quote here. You can read it for yourself, I have all these attached will have links to them. They talk about AD technology, so they demonstrate domain knowledge of this space. So that's pretty good.
And you talk about the problems with tokens and the problems with attention with regard to their market. So this is very effective. They're going to build up and give you build up before making a product a problem statement, they're going to talk about the current state, then they give you this graph actually don't like this but you See, we go in here and then more graphics to build it up. Charts cost comparison. So they give you a little research here, demographics. And so then we get into the meat.
So that's an example. So let's take a look at example. This one is an example of one who didn't really use an introduction. So, they start with a notice and you could kind of, I guess you could take this as an introduction. So they start with a disclaimer and then they say the legal notice here, you may not want to do that you may want to say that as you get past the quick legal stuff. Then they start with forward looking statements.
So you can consider this as An introduction here. So they want to look at the state where we are, look forward. Talk about risk factors here. market information. So there's really not a pure introduction. And you can kind of do that yourself if you want.
You don't have to have an introduction. This is like a date coin. This is another example. And these guys, skip the introduction goes straight into the problem statement. So you can see, the introduction is optional. You can do what you want with it.
But you also can weave it in in several parts, and you can eliminate it altogether. If it doesn't fit what you want. I suggest writing an introduction and then deciding to remove it later. Let's look at one more. This is protocol and bucho token in the protocol, social challenge network. So I guess kind of centered around provoking someone into action.
So they start with an abstract. We'll skip that they go right into the introduction here. Their introduction talks about the value of social networks, how they're going to use the blockchain to augment the social network of today. We talk about YouTube, and they go right into discovery. So no, quote, kind of introduction. Why are we here?
What are we doing and go right into business. So you kind of see what an introduction is here. I think you should get started writing your own
