Welcome to the fourth module of the FSMA Masterclass! This module discusses the requirements in relation to the Supplier Management part of the Preventive Controls for Human Food (PCHF) and the Preventive Controls for Animal Food (PCAF). This is then followed by the additional requirements posed by the Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) and finally the requirements on the Voluntary Qualified Importers Program (VQIP) are discussed as well as the mechanics of importing foodstuff into the USA. There are four lessons in this module: 1. The first lesson covers the introduction and gives an overview of the FSVP rule in a video of approximately 17 minutes. 2. The risk-based supply chain model is discussed in the second lesson and takes 21 minutes. 3. The third lesson contains the FSVP details, which are explained in a 15 minutes video. 4. The last lesson of approximately 15 minutes is on the VQIP and Importing Food into the USA. Make sure you update the Detailed Implementation Plan Excel file which you downloaded as part of the first module as well, either at the end of each lesson or at the end of this module.
