In this video, we're going to go over the success formula. And that formula is where you have confidence plus competence. And that equals, ultimately success. So we're going to go ahead and go over this entire formula here. It's obviously very simple as far as making sure you have the confidence and the belief in yourself to be able to do something, and then having the competence, right, being able to actually physically do it, to you know, take the action, and actually execute and that will ultimately get you success. So let's go ahead and jump into this here.
Success is having the competence and the confidence and then going for it right. I mentioned that you want to be able to have confidence, that belief in yourself that you know, you can figure things out, you know, that you are maybe going to be not so good in the beginning. But as you continue to move forward, as you continue to progress, that competence is going to get better and you're going to have both the company confidence and the competence to make things happen. And when you combine these two, nothing can stop you from achieving anything that you want. Because you have the right information, you have the competence, you have the ability to take action. And you realize that anything that is simply in your way, any kind of obstacle or any kind of detour is really an opportunity for you to show how resourceful you really are, how powerful you truly are, right?
Because a lot of times, we go through different challenges, different things that happen to us in life and we feel like we're stuck. We feel like we are not able to overcome anything that we're going through or whatever it is that we're going through. And at any given time. You can become resourceful simply by changing the way you look at something right. And a really good example here. Is this like a pilot that is flying from Seattle to Miami, okay, the pilot knows where they're going right?
They have the destination They're not just going to turn the autopilot on and go to sleep at the wheel, they have to continue to course correct. Because once you're on your path, right to accomplishing whatever goal that you're looking to accomplish, you're always going to have different things that happen along the way that push you off course. That's why it's important to take note of where you currently are at. And if you actually gone off course, right, you want to make sure where your location and your status is currently at. And you want to be aware of that at all times, because you're going to have to course correct, more often than not, because you may have a fork in the middle of the road, and you need to maybe pivot left or pivot, right, whatever that may be. But your destination, right and destination still remains the same.
And I really love this example of this airplane in this pilot, because at any given time, they're always going to be off course, right? They're going to get pushed by maybe the wind or maybe there's another airplane in the area right that they need to make sure maneuver and get away from right so that they have their own clear path. And at any given time they're going through that stuff, right? They're having to course correct. And when you really think about that, in terms of your goals in relation to you accomplishing your goals, you always have to remember that just like an airplane, when they're going to one destination, right from one point to another point, they know where they're going, but they're having to constantly course correct so that you can use that in your own growth in your own type of strategy. As far as moving towards a goal and understanding that you're going to have to course correct, you're going to have different things thrown at you.
You're going to go off course but you have the resourcefulness to be able to put you back in the driver's seat in the right direction. And here's a very simple success formula that you can follow. So number one, you set an outcome what exactly you want to have accomplished. Number two, you monitor your results. You get through your feedback, right through your data that you've collected. Maybe you found out that, you know, this particular strategy isn't working because you're getting feedback, and it's quote, unquote, failure.
But really, it's more just feedback information, letting you know that this doesn't work, it's time to adjust, right? Which leads us to number three, you adjust your behavior until you get your outcome. Remember, you're constantly course correcting. You're constantly getting feedback and data so that you can know what's not working and do more of what is working right. And if you don't know your outcome, if you don't know what you're striving towards, if you don't know where you're going, then it's impossible for you to get exactly what you want, right? Because then it's just hoping and wishing and praying that you get that or maybe you're just doing like the law of attraction, and you're just thinking and automatically thinking that hey, if I just think about this hard enough, it's just going to magically happen and appear right But that's not the way it goes, right?
That's not how it works. You have to know exactly where you want to go or what you want to accomplish. And then you want to plot the course. And you want to monitor your results, right your feedback that you get. And then you want to constantly adjust your behavior to get you to where you want to be it. So it's really about persisting and adjusting and keep on doing different things that will allow you to use different strategies, different techniques, different methods to ultimately achieve your outcome.
And in this course, you're going to learn several mindset techniques and strategies that you can use on your way to accomplishing your goals right to reaching your destination, because you're going to get discouraged. You're going to have different obstacles, different things that come in your way, but you've been resourceful enough to overcome those and understand that they're just feedback. It's just information coming back to you. It's going to allow you to really become the most reliable Will you've ever become, and to really showcase your true power that you really didn't know you had in you, right? So I really want you to understand that once you have the confidence plus the competence, that's what's going to equal success, but it's never going to be immediate. It's going to be where you plot the course, to a specific outcome to a specific thing that you want, right, maybe a certain area of your life that you want improved.
Maybe you want to be better at talking to the opposite sex, you set the outcome, monitor results, and adjust your behavior. And it's really this simple, as far as these three steps here to accomplishing anything and everything that you want, right. But most people won't even really go this far. They'll just hope in wish. So you're going to be different, you're going to have an outcome that's clearly defined. You're going to monitor your results, you're going to adjust your actual behavior, and make sure that you're staying the course.
So that's going to be here for this video. Look forward to seeing you on the next one. Thanks
