Things to do in your second trimester. Make a complete list of baby items you want to have before the baby's born. In Section four, part one, I include a full list of bV items, I recommend things that you'll need from birth until your babies at least three months old. You can use this or use as a reference to write your own list. Either way, I'm sure there may be other things you want to add to it. So I do also have space on the printable for you to list additional items as well.
Do any baby registers you still need to do if you plan on finding out the sex of the baby I recommend you wait until you know before registering unless you're planning on using gender neutral clothing and items regardless, complete any baby shower tasks you need to do if you're having a shower, and you can see section five for tips on that. Make a rough draft of your birthing to show your midwife or doctor see section six for them. Take a maternity tour of the hospital or hospitals are facilities that your doctor or midwife has a delivery privileges at or wherever you plan on delivering and know that I recommend doing this after you have a rough idea of your birth plan so that you know which things are important to your birth experience, and so you know which questions to ask. And you can see Section seven on that.
If you're planning a home birth, you may still want to take a tour of the hospital or hospital or facility where your midwife or doctor has privileges that just in case there was a situation where you needed to go, but that is totally up to you. Pre register at the hospital or birthing facility facility you decide on unless you're planning a home birth, look into birth classes and sign up for one and you can see section eight for that. reevaluate your budget and savings. You can see section two which was the money saving section during pregnancy for tips and start looking for inexpensive baby items you still need and aren't likely to get your shower. And also update your registries and list of baby items you need as you get things or as people get them for you. So to do next, review the second trimester to do list which is pages two to three of the second trimester workbook, and take time to fully complete each task.
There are multiple other sections of this course I referenced in the to do list checklist as we just discussed. And I just ask that you really take your time on each of the sections in this course, don't try to go through all of them in one day. You want to make sure that you take the time to implement any suggestions you need to do before moving on.
