Welcome to the third trimester section in the course, congrats because you are nearing the end of your pregnancy, I do recommend that you try to finish preparing for your baby as soon as possible for two reasons. One, as you get further into your third trimester, you're likely going to get worn out sooner, even just doing normal activities. And you may get more physically uncomfortable as well. In to the closer you get to your due date, the more likely you are to go into labor. And of course, ideally, you want to have everything ready for your baby by that time. Now, if you end up not being 100% ready, or you don't feel 100% ready, when you go into labor, try not to stress out everything will be okay.
But while you're still pregnant, now you can take advantage of the time you have to plan for your baby so that you can have a smooth transition bringing your baby home. If you're starting this course during your third trimester, and you haven't reviewed the previous parts of the first and second trimesters, then you don't need to review all of those sections. However, I We'll recommend reviewing the below parts from section one of this course as they apply if you haven't already viewed section one part three check if you qualify for WIC if you haven't already looked into this, section one part four be mentally prepared during pregnancy. section one part five, be prepared with good insurance. If you've already checked into this, if you qualify for free or reduced costs insurance being pregnant, and you've already set up your baby with insurance for after they're born, and you can skip reviewing this section one part six Be prepared with your employment.
If you already know your maternity leave benefits and details and you've already made permanent employment decisions for after your baby's born you can skip to Section. Section one part seven make room for baby in your home. section one part eight the role of your birth partner throughout pregnancy in section one part 11 practical suggestions for dealing with pregnancy symptoms. I also recommend under the second trimester section, section three part three things to do in your second trimester. And there are other sections of the course, this part references as well, which you'll want to review as you can. And even though I recommend doing some of these things in your second trimester, you can definitely still apply these tips in your third trimester.
So this completes our introduction of the third trimester. And to do next, remember to download and print out the third trimester workbook, which goes along with the remaining parts of the third trimester section of this course.
