Make room for baby in your home. Although it's early on in your pregnancy the first trimester is a good time to start figuring out how you will accommodate your baby in your home. And to make room for things your baby will need. You'll need space to store larger baby items such as the dresser crib or bassinet bathtub changing table playpen swinger monsters. You also want to have a place to set up smaller baby items as you get them such as diapers, wipes and clothing. It's important to have a spot to put everything so it's organized.
You want to be able to find what you need once you have it, especially after your baby's born. If you've been fully using your storage areas and bedrooms to the max, you may need to move some things around and maybe get rid of some stuff before your baby arrives. You may want to consider having your baby's sleeping area in the same room I use sleep and especially for when your baby is a newborn. Regardless of whether you plan on keeping them in a crib, bassinet or doing some sort of CO sleeping you probably don't want to be running back and forth to do rooms during the middle of the night with a hungry crying newborn. When making room goes beyond organization, in some circumstances you and or your husband or dad to be may decide that you have to make bigger adjustments to make or improve your baby.
This might involve something like moving to a home with more space for bedrooms and are getting a vehicle big enough to accommodate everyone. For example, this may be the case if you have other children or stepchildren and don't have enough space with your current situation. If you do have to make a bigger change like this, you'll want to estimate the expense and include this in your budget. You'd also want to prepare in advance as much as you can to simplify the process and or get a head start on any research you need to do or packing if you need to move.
