Welcome to the Six Sigma greenbelt training space. Today we are going to talk about asking questions. five questions and why? Because when you think about the list of the root causes you're receive after an Ishikawa Diagram workshop, you need to think, is it really like a root cause of the problem or maybe isn't just a cause. And we need to go deeper to really understand what is the root cause. And during the workshop, it's so important that you don't charge Dutch people.
So everybody during the workshop has, has to have like a freedom and comfort that my opinion is valid. And so asking five times why During the workshop can be not very comfortable for the person or you can you need to change the the post it notes So, during the workshop you don't change the posted you just keep the opinion people wrote on the post it notes as it is, but later you need to look at the list of the causes you have and decide if you are happy with the answer, because asking questions is about it means that you are not happy with the answer and you need to ask again and again. Why? And example for example, if you have situation that your pizza was delivered very late, you can ask the question why why the pizza was delivered. So right and the answer can be megadose traffic of the road.
Okay, but why was the traffic They're old. And the answer is that try people's due to some constructions down on the on the on the road and another wise but why the construction were down on the road and the answer could be like a they were very heavy rain last week and the rain caused the damages in the in the road. And now we have the root cause. Now, now the root cause heavy rain and when you think about the Ishikawa Diagram fishbone diagram, you have a part where that Mother Nature and you can allocate this root cause on the on the fishbone diagram. Heavy rains is out of our control. So we are not going to take this root cause to the improve phase.
But every root cause that are there is in our control. We are going to move to the improve face and later we'll find solutions to our problem and find ways It's very simple tool. It's really negar. For kids. It's so natural to ask, why why why we as adults are not open to to ask so many questions are very open, people are afraid to ask question. And they don't feel comfortable with standing and asking why?
Because they don't want to, and like a destroy eration or they just don't feel comfortable to say that they don't understand something even. But you as a green belt as a green belt candidate, you need to have comfort of asking questions. And this is your role actually to ask the right questions, because you need to go to the root cause you need to go very deeper to the process and understand the root cause. So your role is to solve a problem and you will not solve the problem if you will not have the right answers to your question. So please don't be afraid to ask questions. Ask why why why?
As many times you need Don't, don't don't feel uncomfortable with this, you will ask many, many why's later on. Maybe when you will move to blackbelt position or master record position. This is about asking the right questions. So please allow as a last step, go to the template and you will find the template for FIFO Hi, so you can release all the causes from their fuel bond workshop and decide how many y's you need to get read the root cause of the of the problem. If you don't feel comfortable doing this task alone, you can ask your team members for support. And the final output of the analysis phase is the release of the rule.
Causes, this has impact on our problem. And the next part of that training is improved face. Thank you
