Welcome to the frazzled balanced module one overview. I am so excited to go through this program with you. As you know, there are three main modules to this program. I'm going to give you a little preview of each module before we dive in, just so that you know what to expect. Are you ready? Okay, let's do it.
Module One is all about setting the foundation to master your time and self care. There are four different lessons in this module to help you build that foundation. In lesson one, we're going to talk about interpreting life balance. And lesson two, you're going to identify your personal values. In lesson three, you're going to identify your priorities. Those are two different things.
And then in lesson four, we're going to wrap up by helping you create an effective support system to increase your success both in this program and then in your life after you finish the program. Now let's go a little deeper and talk about the specific goals that will work Work on throughout each lesson in module one. And lesson one, we're going to work on accomplishing three specific outcomes. The first one is to help you get back into the driver's seat of your life, I want you to begin to realize that you have the power to stop the overwhelm that you've been feeling in your life. also help you take a moment to really think about what life balance means to you. There are a lot of different definitions of life balance out there, but to me, the definition doesn't matter that much.
It's really just semantics. But what does matter is that you create a life that allows you to feel more at peace more in the flow and, and have that sense of fulfillment that we're all really looking for. Our third goal for Lesson One is to start analyzing the elements of your life that are required for you to feel truly balanced. It's easy to see how everyone else is living their life on Facebook or Instagram or Pinterest and it's everybody else's life is so available to us that it's natural to feel like we have to keep up with the Joneses. But that's probably A big part of the overwhelm that you feel. So we're just going to start to shut everything else out, shut out what everyone else is doing and determine exactly what needs to be included in your life.
In order for you to feel more balanced, we're going to start focusing on you. So then we're going to move on to Lesson number two, where you're going to identify your values. In this lesson, we're going to focus on three different goals as well. First, you're going to create a personal values profile, which is an exercise I created to help you identify certain principles and qualities that are most important to you right now. Once you finish this personal values profile, you're gonna be able to use that to guide your decisions about how you spend your time. Also, through this process, you're going to be able to evaluate and really challenge the values that are controlling your actions right now.
And finally, by the end of lesson two, you're gonna have a much better idea of what infuses your life with meaning, which will help give you some structure when you're trying to decide where to spend your time. All right, so in lesson three, we're going to talk about your priorities which are different than your values. So our first goal for lesson three is to take an inventory of everything that you have on your plate right now, you're also going to have an opportunity to assess which of the many priorities that you're looking at right now are most important to you, and which ones could be put back on put on the back burner for now. And by the end of lesson three, you'll also have a system you can use to break down your overwhelming to do list and figure out which specific items you need to focus on.
This is a system that you'll be able to use for the rest of your life if it works for you. This is a system that I use to make confident and clear decisions about my time now, which helps me avoid feeling guilty and stressed out when I have to choose between a lot of different options. So the final piece of building the foundation for mastering your time and self care is establishing a super solid support system. So our first goal for lesson four is to identify Other people in your life who will lift you up and make your life easier. The second goal is to figure out which people will be good accountability partners in which people might actually derail your success and creating a balanced life. And finally, we're going to wrap up module one by developing a plan for reaching out to others when you need support.
This is going to be especially helpful for anybody out there who's like me who hates asking other people for help. Alright, are you ready to dive in? Your next step is to listen to the very first audio lesson in this module, lesson one interpreting life balance. So let's get started.
