Okay, so in this video now guys, I want to show you how to make polite requests in Chinese. you've liked before that we can just repeat verbs for instance can would mean to watch can can will be like Watch, watch or Look, look, look Look at that. It doesn't sound too impolite because you repeat it so that's a lot nicer to listen to actually. Now we can continue like that. But another really good one is actually Isha Isha. So we've got e like from one and Sha, which we'll talk more about that later or not in this course actually go to our website and visit our comprehensive Chinese course if you want to find out what Sha means anyways, Isha for now we'll just be an expression.

And it's something we put at the end of a verb. For instance, if you say come, it means to look but you can say can come and the same meanings can come will be kaneesha kaneesha. That is actually much more common than repeating the verb. And I personally think it sounds a lot nicer. Okay. kaneesha can you share you can say, No, you can say that with anything you can say.

Walk a little bit, so we shall. We shall fantastic, isn't it? Now we don't really know. Too many verbs yet that we can do this with, like imperatively telling someone to do something like, do this or watch this, or walk around a little bit. So far, we just have kaneesha and Felicia, and maybe Shawn is out as in speak a little bit speak a little bit. Trisha, Trisha.

Okay, a fun little side note about this Isha is that every time we see it, we know it's a verb in front of it. So Chinese are sort of reversed that logic. And instead, they've taken things that are not verbs and putting a shot after it, and then made them into verbs. For instance, like we say, Google, and that is not a verb. But if we say google it that would make it into a verb. Now in Chinese, you wouldn't say Google park or Google it.

Instead, you would say Google Isha wonderful. And in China, you have a search engine called Baidu if you've heard of it, and that one, we would just say by Louisa, and their actual slogan is Baidu, Isha chocolate Allah Baidu a little bit and you'll know it or buy it, and you'll know it. Fantastic. So that's an example. Have something that I love because it means we can take anything, put a shot afterwards. And then we've got ourselves a verb.

Fantastic, isn't it? And now that you've learned each shot, we'll pick up some other very useful little verbs along the way now through the next videos. Wow, okay, okay. Oh. Oh, yes, yes. That's what I'm talking about.

Yeah. Yeah.
