Welcome to the actual practice of yoga nidra, here we will gently move into the practice of "Yogic Sleep" with a gentle warm-up, breathwork, and then guide you into the practice itself.
Please ensure that you are in a quiet space (inform family members that you will be practicing a relaxation practice for them to please respect this time you are taking for yourself. They are more than welcome to join you if they so, please.
You may want to light a candle, burn some incense. Ensure you have your mat laid out, a blanket, eye pillow if you are lying down. If seated please sit up against a wall or use a meditation chair in case you fall asleep you don't want to be sitting in a chair that you can fall off from. So please ensure that you are comfortably seated with an upright and supported spine.
