So for my first cat face, I'm going to make a nice patchy face with some dark patches on white fur. So to do this, I'm just going to take my water and water down patches of face here. And I'm going to leave the bottom here, the chin white and I'm going to leave the nose and the eyes white as well. Then I'll mix my color. I'm going to take some of this black and then I'm going to mix it with some Prussian blue. Still gives a black look but it's not flat.
And then I'm going to take just a little bit of orange with that. So now still with my large brush, I'm just going to go and create the patches here. Just going to drop in color and it looks very blue right now. The water is making it Brian and so it will dry lighter and I gotta like that look. And this is just our first layer of our patches face here. Come over here and create just a little bit of a cat face shape for the outline, and then just dab in some patches and I'll do this over here as well on the ear.
Rinse my brush, and now pick up this little slightest bit of pigment. And I'll go and finish creating that shape of the ear and the outline here. Do this on this side as well. The top and right here underneath. One more time I'll rinse my brush and right here on the edge. I want to just blend this edge out a little too, so it's not harsh anywhere.
And then I'll let this layer completely dry.
