Okay, it's Rob here from Rob coven.com. We are improving this image and stylizing it, we're adding shape layers to areas and really making them pop out and we're going to do exactly the same with the eyes. So we've done this is the upper lip here, so we'll pull that one up on it and lower lip. And now we're going to do another one, we've got the path tool selected, and we've got shape layer selected here, and we're just going to go around the eye. So click, clicking and dragging with the path tool and creating another shape player like we did last time around that I and we're going to really try and bring out the blue of the eye. So that's one with the spacebar held down and dragging, I'm going to the other one.
As I've closed that other path, I can just start clicking again. And I'll just create another shape layer. And I'm just clicking and dragging to draw a circle around this I option, click there to stop the curve, start a new type of curve. And I finished that shape layer, that one's the right eye. And that one's the left eye. So let's make these black.
Remember, there aren't any effects on these eyes. So don't worry about the fx icon here on the layer. They're not visible. So there actually aren't any effects on these shape layers. So same again, that's put the opacity right up to 100. And as you can see, after we've made it black, it's bought out the blue and the pasties only on 50 We can put the FST up, it's probably too much, it's probably okay right there on 50.
Let's scroll through the layer blend modes, we're on overlay overlays probably the best again, we can make the color blue and ridiculous blue there, which is probably a bit too much. Let's make it a bit of a more realistic blue for eyes, paler blue, and that's much better. So let's double click again. Let's take the hexadecimal there and copy that. So we can give exactly the same color to the other eye. Let's have a look at the other eye.
So as you can see, that looks like she's got a black eye there. Let's double click on that layer, the left eyes layer thumbnail. And in the hexadecimal reference, we'll paste that it means she has exactly the same color on the other eye, but actually the layer blend mode is different. On the left one, we've got vivid lights On the right one we've got overlay, so let's put the same one on each. And still it's different because the left one is 100 opacity, and the right one is 50. So we'll go 50 on the left one so the eyes are exactly the same now or they have the same treatment at least.
So join me for the next video when we will just be finishing up on the image.
