Now when we talk about being larger than life and giving exaggerated answers, one way we can accomplish that is using contrast. It's been observed that contrast his speeches that contain contrast, are far more likely to get standing ovations than ones that don't. And if we think of, perhaps Martin Luther King's speech, I have a dream. There was a lot of contrast in that. And you can use the power of contrast in your speeches to prepared ones and impromptu. So you might want to say if I take my last example of a party, and I talked about, oh, there were 10,000 people at the party, actually there were only 10.
That's a contrast right there from 10,000 to 10. And it makes it a lot more visual for people and it also makes it more exciting. So feel free to use the power of contrast whenever you're speaking.
