Hi and welcome to the course how to fix the hole. What we're talking about here is fixing a hole in the middle of a piece of clothing. So to learn how to fix a tear, please watch the video how to fix the tear and to learn how to sew back a cutscene. Please watch the video how to pick the cuts team. Both are available in the hem stitch series. So first, you have to cut about 40 to 80 centimeters long of the thread of your choice, depending on the size of the hole, then you can put the thread through the eye of the needle.
This might be difficult at first, but you'll improve with time there is no magic way of doing this. You can only make sure that the thread is cut neatly. If you really tend to get the thread through try a needle with a bigger eye. So here we go. Once you get the thread through the needle, make sure the needle goes right in the middle of it and that the two ends of the thread are touching You will always want to use double thread if you want your work to be sturdy. However, for more delicate work like a blind stitch on a Pentium for example, you will want to use a simple thread.
In the case of a button though we want something sturdy so double thread it is never forget that you don't have to waste hours trying to make a knot at the end of your thread. Nope, utterly useless. Only makes you lose time and energy. So looking inside your piece of clothing, stick the needle directly in the garment. You want to keep about one centimeter of thread out of the fabric. Then stick it back and forth a few times until you've created a strong knot.
So if you're fixing a loose knit, you'll probably need to stick the needle a couple of times to strongly feel the same. You might even need a thicker thread. Okay, so let's go when you feel that the knot is strong enough The needle from one side of the hole to the other without creating a hard fold around it. Do this again until the hole is completely shut. If you feel that your scene isn't strong enough, simply do it a second time. When this is done, stick your needle back two or three times in the opposite way of your seam to create a strong securing stitch.
You can now cut off the exceeding threads. And congratulations, you just fixed the whole like a real pro.
