Welcome back to 20 moves in 20 days. Today we are going to talk about jazz cha says. So kind of similar concept, actually, to yesterday's jazz runs, we're still going to focus on opposition from the arms to the legs. And but we're going to move in a slightly different way. So we kind of already touched on shock phase with our Lindy or a shot a ball changes from a few days back, but we can actually do Josh essays where they travel us across the floor. This is another very effective form of traveling because you can really move on these and just just eat up the entire floor super quickly.

So again, they're super effective at getting you to your next spot. Okay, so what I'm going to do is show them to you first and then we'll break them down. But remember, the concept stays the same of the step together step or thinking of the back leg or the side laid, essentially the second leg to thing the first one, right? So again, I'll just, I will just give you a quick showing and then go from there. Alright, so we're gonna say and as you can see, I only covered I only needed three to cover that whole space. And honestly, I could do it in two because it's just, they're awesome.

They're just another powerhouse step. I'm going to go back show you the from the left, or to the left side, we have one and two, and three. Okay. So, some things to think about our, without the arms, we're actually going to start with our right leg forward because of this, the steps nature. So again, I'm traveling right I want to start with my right leg. But what's good about this step is that in order to do a shot a right I'm going to actually chase that foot, right with my back foot.

So it is gonna leave here. So In my PrEP is going to be here, and I'm going to do a step together step. And it's going to be, step together step, like so. And then you're going to switch to the next foot, and do, step together, step, and then switch again, step together step. So it just continues to just switch sides every single time. So, again, if I'm heading to the right, I'm going to use my right foot in front, and then I'm going to do step.

And now as my back leg is coming to meet my front leg here, I'm going to kick that right leg out just a little bit. I don't want to make it super dramatic, but I just kick it out a little bit. And then I missed step on that foot so I can switch. And then I'm going to alternate my foot. And I'm going to do left together left. Yeah, right.

Together, right? Okay, so we can come back during the same thing. Again, because I'm starting to the left, I want to make sure that I actually had left. So I'm going to do, step together step by, step together, step, step together, step. All right, so you have your basic shots days. Now what we're going to do is put some arms together with your legs to do that coordination.

So it's still going to be this, like you practice with you jazz runs, except that I am going to just coordinate Well, really, it's pretty much the exact same thing. So if I start over here, and I am in my preps position, I'm actually going to go ahead and start opposition because I'm wearing need to be. So from here, I'm going to shop today. And then I'm going to switch everything, arm and leg. Ready. So Then I can do my opposite sides.

Then I go step together step. Then I switch, step together, step. And then again, heading back, I start exactly where I need to be left leg in front, right arm in front, I go left and right and left. All right. So, some things to think about. You do want to utilize your pa or your bended knees right, you really, actually that will give you a lot of power in the way that you do your shots days, you can get a lot more airtime can travel farther faster.

So definitely feel that you can use that to really help get you off the ground. The other thing we want to make sure of is that in our shots a position itself, when we're in the air, our legs should be squeezed together, straight legs and pointed feet. So that's a really important thing. This moment right here, where they come together is straight. And really just everything's all together, tucked in straight knees, pointed feet. Okay.

And the other thing that sometimes happens that we want to try to avoid is sometimes as we're finishing up the shots, from this position here, when we're kicking that other leg forward, it gets really high, we want to try to avoid that we don't want it to look like like a deliberate kicking of the leg, we actually just want it to be more of a transition. So from here, I'm going to actually head towards the floor. So I'm actually thinking that it's the, the, the direction that I want to head is down rather than up. Alright, so kind of like what we talked about with yesterday's step. If you have a big open space to practice in, this is a really great idea. And that way, you can kind of practice them sequentially.

And totally rock them. All right. Good work today. I will see you tomorrow.
