This action is about understanding your emotional health. First thing we're going to talk about is journaling. journaling is a fantastic way to start to get to understand ourselves, our emotions, our mind, and start to get to know ourselves on a deeper level. journaling can be as simple as every evening every day. Just write in a few lines, a few paragraphs of how the day is gone, and how we feel with all the things that have happened to us the other day, too. I can go as more complex and write in few pages or write in like up to 10 pages, maybe a day.

It depends on you the individual because this is something personal between you and your journal. I could test that is to get a new book, a nice, nice book You going to enjoy writing in every day, go out and buy yourself one of them. And then especially when you start going on this journey of self exploration, with your health and with your mind and your body, then it helps you to cement in some of the things you've learned. And you may be very surprised at the things that start to come up. Because you can start to become your own therapist when you start journaling. Another good tip is to just auto write it down if you try this before, but auto writing is just write them until you can't until you can't write anymore.

You just literally put the pen to the paper and write whatever is coming into your mind. And just continue to write. And you may be very surprised what comes out but also you may be like excited and enthused because you find start finding out more and more about yourself. And this is it's really exciting. Self exploration is something that's continuous that we always do interesting Our lives, and it's something that we can get a lot from. Just let all of your feelings out all of your emotions.

At first, they may even be a little bit uncomfortable because we've never done that we've never started the build this relationship with ourselves. So first of all, it may make us feel a little bit uncomfortable but persevere with it. Try Write, write in maybe a paragraph initially. Then the next two paragraphs. And especially if you're not used to it, you may find it a little bit challenging. But maybe you are maybe used to write in your diary.

So it may come that very easy to then. So journaling is a really good tip because you can have to get our thoughts and especially our negative thing from our mind onto paper. When it's onto paper. It's out of our heads are almost gone, you know, so nobody else needs to see this book. You can lock it up in a secret place. This can be your most intimate private thoughts.

It can be really helpful to get all of the junk out of our mind onto the paper. So we don't have to keep mulling over in our heads, even if it's just in the subconscious or in the back of our mind. It's clogging up our thoughts. And we they mean to get clarity of thought. So get that, get those thoughts out of your head onto paper. And then you can start thinking clearly.

Next, we're going to talk about meditation. I'm particularly passionate about meditation because of the way that has helped me in my life and my clients lives. It's fascinating how when we start to meditate, we can clean up our thoughts and the negative thoughts in particular, and start to become more positive in our lives. You mean have never meditated ever before. But don't let this put you off, because we've got to start somewhere. And there's so many different meditations out there now.

Like what I said about books is finding the ones that are particularly of particular interest to you. And then which ones you find that work in for you, and then sticking with those ones. I mean mantra meditation is particularly good for cleaning up our thoughts in our minds. mantra meditation is a meditation that's been brought over from the east. mantra means man means mind. And try means to cleanse or to get rid of negativity.

So what it means is we're cleaning the mind of negativity and bringing it taking it away from the things that we don't want them to have the things that we do want. So try also can be explained as to deliver select to deliver in your mind from the negative influences and focus in on the positive ones. Now, mantra meditation, you can use many different sacred, sacred sound vibrations, one in particular that I found useful Listen, Hari Krishna Maha mantra. Now that means Maha mantra means a great mantra for deliverance of the mind. So it's Hari Krishna Hari Krishna Krishna Krishna Hari Hari, Hari Rama, Hari, Rama, Rama, Rama Hari Hari. And you can do that on beads.

Or you can do it. melodious Lee to Kyrgyzstan, if anyone should have clear time meditation. It's a repetition of mantras, but also to melodious drums or keyboard play, and also any instruments actually, which had to focus the mind. It gives nice melody to the music so that we can focus the mind easier, because our minds are like monkeys, the monkey mind. They play tricks on us and they they're always coming up with new things, our barriers, negativity, for example. So we're going to what we're trying to do is to calm calm the mind find that place of stillness, and clear all of these negative thoughts, because the monkey mind keeps playing tricks like that.

And I guess a mantra meditation has been proven also to increase the size of our, of our brains. So if you want bigger brains, then meditation is the way forward. And they tested this on Buddhist monks. They put electrodes around the heads, and the when they were in the meditation, they actually saw an increase in size in the brain. So this is something scientifically proven now. I mean, it's a known fact that we're only using approximately 5% of our brains capabilities.

So is the possibility of meditation maybe a way to tap into some of that, that we don't use at the moment. Other meditations you can use like stillness meditations, for example. They can be a little bit challenging because the mind keeps coming up with new things. But even if you just try and keep in the stillness and as things start coming up just like I said, you just give gratitude and say thank you. But you just dismiss thank you and dismiss. So just like, like a stream.

As, as the streams going down you can see the leaves come in margin in the leaves are these things that the mind is strong enough, just allowing them to pass and saying thank you and just allowing them to move on, then our minds can start to become clear once we get rid of all this chitchat and negative things that's within. So it's been proven meditation has been proven to calm our emotions, and our mind down, especially through repetition, if we're doing it regularly could start with five minutes a day, then 10 minutes, 20 minutes. And some recommendations believe that we should chant up to two hours in a day. Imagine if you chant in for two hours in a day, then the whole day you can even start to turn into a meditation and we can start the beginning. The Masters of our universe, rather than things, controlling what we're doing, we're in control because we've got our mind under control.

Like martial artists have known this for years and martial artists. It's almost like a meditation, isn't it when they're doing their martial arts, and that's their practice or yoga, for example, it's like a moving meditation. Because you focus in on every single thing that you do and, and when we do in that when we're in our regular day, let's be honest, we're usually rushing from here, they're everywhere, trying to get things done, we're busy with our family life or business, whatever it is, but it's about coming really present grounded and letting go of the negative thoughts and focus in on the positive thoughts, or even on positive sound vibrations and sacred sound vibrations, which in themselves, carry a strong vibration in order to help clean in the mind. So those little tips about meditation, give meditation a try, if you've never tried to before, I'd advise going to a group to start the meditation.

And if you've ever used the scene, when you're ready, the teacher will appear. So if you put that thought out there, that I'm sure that the class or the person that can teach you will turn up in your life. Those are the types of meditation. I hope you get a lot out of them in your life. Next, we're going to talk about therapies. Now, I know I've spoken about this becoming our own therapists and about doing meditation, but it sometimes it's important for us to actually go outside of our own circle, and to find somebody else to help us with our issues.

Because let's be honest, some things that come up, they can be a little bit more too challenging, not only for us, but maybe our spouses or our friends. They've got their own things going on and it can be difficult sometimes to unwind some of these things that are coming up especially We start to make changes in our life, to our diet, our thoughts on meditation, these old things and old psych six cyclic patterns can start to come up in our lives. And it's can be important and it can be really helpful actually, if we can find the right therapist, to speak to. There's so many different therapies out there. You don't have to just pick counselling for example, there's like, my wife does spiritual response therapy, which is particularly good. There's people that use dowsing pendulums, there's reflexology massage, you name it, and as a therapy for it, it's just finding the one that you find resonates with you and that particular thing that you're going through at that time.

So a top tip would be that if you find that things are going out of control, and you're not able to keep thing, keep a lid on things on yourself. might be a good idea to get a therapist pay therapist, go and talk to them. And if they resonate with you maybe have a block of sessions with a therapist, and they can help you to get to the bottom of your thing because because we've already had experiences with clients and helping clients to get over these things, it can be very easy for them to get to the bot help get the ball help you to get to the bottom of what it is that you need to clear from your past conditioning. So, when choosing a therapist, go with you get, go with what feels right. Go with somebody resonates with you, somebody that's got a proven track record, somebody that may have testimonials from existing clients or previous clients, then that's usually a good gauge of somebody that you can use in your life or somebody that friends or family that have found useful as well.

They can also be really good. So that's another tip if things again, a little bit too much in Iran. Look for help outside Next, we're going to talk about negative emotions and the effect that they can have on the physical body. negative emotions have a direct effect on the physical body. In the Chinese traditional medicine theory, they talk of liver for example, being the place the harbors, and now, we've experienced this with clients also that if they've got a lot of anger arise in them. We use certain therapies and certain naturopathic techniques to help the liver or just through diet.

And as the liver starts to clean up, then you'll notice that the anger and their their anger control, if they need to control every minute detail, then it's usually to show him that the liver is struggling a little bit. Now the liver is a very important organ within our bodies. It's it's used for detoxification. So, if we've got a lot of toxins inside, then they can often get clogged up in the liver. And this can prevent this from getting ultimate health and well being. But also it can make us quite angry, irritable, and controlling.

On the flip side, when we've cleaned our liver, it can help us to be on time, it can help us to have more clarity of thought. And it can help us to have more control in our lives, but not in a controlling manner. But we can be more controlling over ourselves, we can have more control over our lives, we can feel a little bit overwhelmed and out of control if our liver is out of balance. So that's just a simple example of one of the organs but all of our organs can be related to particular types of emotions. So if we know there's a particular type of emotion that keeps coming up in our life, then it may be an idea to seek out the Chinese traditional therapist or acupuncturist or even come into us to See what it is that our which organ in particular is we're having a little bit of difficulty with and working on the physicality of that but also working on the emotional aspect.

And because you're going out with the two ways, then you can gain the best results. So the negative emotions have a direct effect on our physical body. If we can get rid of those negative emotions, then we can get ultimate health that much quicker.
