So how do we use these naturopathic techniques within our lifestyle and make it manageable and simple. a naturopathic technique in itself is exercise. And it's a big part of our philosophy and exercise where we're actually sweating. So when we raise our body temperature and we do exercise, even if it's only 10 minutes a day of skipping or a short Bran trampoline, and we can actually improve the improve the detoxification of the body, and also improve the the warmth and heat in the system. So in the Chinese system, we say that the heart of the body temperature, the greater the energy and the more capacity there is to cleanse. And so thinking about how you can daily raise your body temperature, and if someone is ill, you might actually do that falsely with a hot tub or a sauna, or go into local steam room.
Be aware when you're doing saunas and steam that you need a good level of hydration when you're doing those type of techniques. That four pints Water needs to be going in making sure you've been doing that over a period of time, at least two to three weeks before you embark on saunas or steam rooms. But they are really wonderful to improve detoxification and raise your temperature. And literally, when we raise our temperature, we are melting cholesterol within the cells, we're improving the detoxification of the cell. So those toxicity, the bacterias, and viruses, which often live in the cell, can leave and clear throughout the body fluids. So the lymphatic system, liver function code on function will all be important in getting those toxicity levels down and out of the cell.
So how did you How can you get warm, sort of do that through hot and cold and also hot tap in if someone's very ill and have a very low body temperature, you just do hot techniques. And so that would be you know, having warm coffee on the bhaji with different aisles but also raising their temperature through an October experience and measuring the temperature. And that's why we say his natural path, the temperature is really important. So when someone has a cold or virus, we don't want to reduce that temperature. As long as it's not running longer than 10 days, we want to be keeping that temperature reasonably high. Although not beyond, you know, dangerous, we want to be keeping it to a reasonable level in order to keep that body warm.
In order to burn those toxins. And children are very good at this, they actually raise the temperature quite easily when there and that's something that can be managed to coat and therapies like cold socks on the feet or paddling the feet in cold water to bring the temperature away from the brain but also allowing the temperature to come down naturally. And there's always homeopathy for that as well. You know without reaching for medications again, If there's any worries around children's health, he would consult with a GP or a naturopath. You'd want to sort of think about Okay, how can you let that temperature run safely by using our naturopathic techniques. Moving on from that you can use skin brushing which is basically use it to dry skin brush throughout the body, and particularly working on the glandular system.
So working out from the face of the legs and circular movements on the colon area, and moving down the body from the heart to the digestive system. So you're improving your circulation, improving the skin's detoxification through this method and it's very, very simple and very energizing. So you could you could do this in the morning and that would really set you up for the day. So for example, hot and cold showers after your skin brushing and then you know brisk walk to work or 10 minute trampoline and before before you go to work. If you've got the time then that could be Really good technique. And again, when you return from work to clear the energy of the day, you might do 10 minutes on the trampoline, or have a you know, hot and cold shower the end of the day to clear the energies of the day and to get the mind clear as well.
After, you know, doing a lot of focusing work throughout the day, you might need to sort of bring the energy back in balance and that with how to cold showers and skin brushing also can be really wonderful.
