This section is all about how to create a positive mindset with food choices. So, we're going to talk a little bit about our call along. And how congested caught on can create a congested mind. So because like we've already spoken about the connection, Chinese traditional medicine between the colon and the mind or the bowel in the mind, then if we get a congested call on, then our mind can also get congested. So a lot of the foods that we have eaten in the West these days, create in exactly this effect. And then so it's no surprise that antidepressants are on the increase their mental health is on the increase, and that people are starting to struggle on a day to day basis and start to get more stressed, etc.

This isn't the only factor but of course, it's one of the contributing factors. So if we can clean it up Well, then we can also clean up our mind. Because of the connection. In this section, we've been talking a lot about the other way around how we can clean up our mind to clean up our body. Well, now we're going to talk about how we can clean up our body to clean up our mind, because they both have an effect on each other. And you may find because we've I've experienced this with lots of clients, and people that have studied the courses with us is that when they start to clean up their body, for example, then the mind starts automatically clean up, or they may start having past emotions hurts or traumas start to surface just because they started to put these physical things into practice.

Now we've experienced this firsthand with our clients in our in our clinical practice, and it's fascinating. And likewise, when I've been working with my spiritual counseling clients, I've noticed that as they started to clean up their mind, then also they can handle like the density and Heavy foods that cause these, the congestion of the colon. It's very fascinating. I've witnessed in my own eyes and my wife Emma is also witnessed in her practice. Now it's it's been proven scientifically now, isn't it? The about the the mind and the power of connection?

So did you know that actually serotonin was created 90% of serotonin actually is created in the battle in the gut, and not not in the in the brain as what scientists first thought. So that changes the whole dynamic, isn't it because if we're taking antidepressants, for example, which are helping to produce serotonin in the brain, then if we're cleaning up our power and our gut and our body can naturally start creating the serotonin, and then feed in our brain, and then we can start to get much more in tune enough. So instead of going down the pharmaceutical route, we can start to do it naturally. First, and then by all means if you want to go down that route, that's your choice. But personally, I prefer to go the natural route initially, just to see if it can make a difference. I know that when I've had difficulties my past in the past because I've had things like depression and things in the past, I've noticed that actually doctors have not had much more to offer me than antidepressants.

They haven't offered much like cognitive behavior therapy or any of these things because they personally haven't gotten enough time. First of all, to give you offer you that treatment, and it cost a lot more money as well isn't it to go off and have like more counseling, etc. But then I've used those things counseling, and various other things. And I found personally that they've helped more to get over any depressed and the depression that I've had in my past. So it's up to you what you do and but it's definitely you can do it through the natural route. dealing with depression was the first book that I read in when I was in Australia.

And that also gives me another as a while, like I said earlier, when you when you start to read these books, it automatically makes you think this is possible now. So you may be watching this and think you never hear this stuff before. Now if here this stuff is changed your mind, you're thinking, wow, that's changed your frame of reference, isn't it? Like before? Before they run the one minute mile, nobody thought that it was possible. Everyone thought that it was impossible.

And then when Roger came and did the one minute mile, everybody thought was possible. So then, after he did it, everybody had started doing it. So as a frame of reference, you've got your mind says, Oh, God, somebody else can do it, then now I can do it also. So it's above, surrounding us with other people which have already done things that we want to do. And then that makes it easier for us to do it. And that Be while you're studying now so you can learn from this rejuvenation program that we can start to do a lot of different things with our hands just by making some tweaks naturally and then it could prevent us from going down the route of taking any tablets or medication for example.

So now we're going to move on to foods that congest the bowel some foods that can congest the bone may sound off Yes, like we spoken about this foods in the West now that we've started to eat that conducive for for cleaning up our bowel. There's a lot of things that are popular and then like fast food for example. It's a battered things like you have your Southern fried chicken, your pizzas, your chips and fish, etc. all of the things that are full of hydrogenated fats, and flowers, particularly glutinous flowers, and white processed flowers, which act like glue When they get inside the body, the gluten then they'll act like glue. And if anybody's ever done, Poppy Mr. Shea before in school, when you start mixing all the newspaper into the glue, then that's what's happening when these brands are flowers are going into our system.

They're mixing with the juices within the stomach and within the digestion, and then it starts to get like exactly like Leo. So then our digestive system is getting all clogged up with this gluey type system substance. And it's preventing us from getting the most out of our nutrition out of our food. So some of the obvious ones, what I've already touched on is like your white flowers, breads, pizza bases, fish that's potted. Then you're looking at things like sugar, then dairy. So dairy is also congested for the borrower and red meat.

There's been a lot of studies recently isn't on red meats now and how long it takes it takes hours for red meat to go through our digestive system. And sometimes it doesn't get through and it actually gets clogged up in our, in our colon, and then can cause things like bowel cancer, etc. So there's a lot of studies that have suggested that now, red meat in particular is one that's really difficult for us to digest. It's really tough and difficult to digest. So if you are eaten meat, then you might want to stop giving up red meat first, then white meats, then fish, then eggs and then you may even go on to like a plant based diet because plant based diet is more conducive for health. With what we've experienced in our clinical practice.

We've realized the plant based diet vegan vegetarian diets, particularly raw foods and live sprouted foods, help the system because you're eating foods that are Live, and they're vibrant, they're full of energy. And they can be really helpful for our health. Whereas when we ingest in dead foods, then BAM got their life less down got any energy in them, and the clogging up our system and the kirlian photography, you can tell that if you take a piece of meat for example, dead flesh piece of meat then compared with like a sprouted grain of seed, the energy levels and the sprouted grain and see that that much higher than the piece of meat because it's dead actually. So what we tend to suggest or what we tend to advise is to start moving towards more of a life role and not all robots, maybe 5050 or 7525. of cooked and just cook to raw initially.

Then maybe 5050 and then depending upon your body type, but it's good maybe to have a therapist answer to help you because It does depend on what body type you are and what type of health conditions you are going through on what type of levels of raw cooked you can handle. So that's a little little thing on on red meat, and how we can congest the call on. And it's not just vegetarians and vegans are suggesting this No, these are scientific studies. And yeah, so it'd be beneficial if you could snack it in and down not only for your digestion, it's also things like heart attacks and cancers. We've also linked like a lot high red meat intake to things like that. Yeah, so those are some of the foods that can congest Obi Wan.

And we speak a little bit later on about some of the foods that can have the cleanup of power and start to have a clear clean power and a clean mind. Moving on then, let's talk about some of the plant based foods or the grains and seeds etc. that we can start using to cleaner our day. justice system and are by well known color. So we've already spoken about taking glutinous grains out, we often recommend, especially if people's health isn't so good, or when you only started your health journey to maybe start gluten free initially, because it creates less stress on the system and less stress in the body. So we usually advise people to go gluten free initially dependent upon that picture, obviously in that individual story, but to try it and to see how good you feel.

A lot of people these days again, intolerant to gluten, there's a lot of celiacs there's a lot of people that are intolerant to wheat, etc. So why not just try taking that out for a little bit at least if you are using them to soak the grains, soaking them for longer periods and nights because the ancients used to do this they used to soak their rice used to soak their wheat and then they used to sort of slightly sprouted in nature when the seeds are planted. In the ground, as soon as the water reaches them, then they start to germinate and they start to sprout well as they start to sprout, they've, they've already got more energy within them. And they've also lost some of the negative phytic acid which has an effect on our bodies which in which are not good for us really so the ancients knew about it, but now we got lazy and then if we want some brown rice, for example of one, some white rice, whatever, we're putting it in cooking in 10 minutes, 15 minutes or however long and when it's cooked, serving it straight away.

Ancients used to soak their rice, their grains, their lentils, beans, seeds before we used to use them, because they knew that they'd have much more energy levels in them and then get rid of also the negative acids within them so that our body can digest them properly. So we usually suggest short grain brown rice because this helps the hydrate the colon, the colon can fool the rest of the body into believing is hydrated. Within our philosophy, hydration is the number one thing that we we promote. If we can get hydrated then because severe dehydration actually creates more most illnesses. So it may sound very simple, simple, simple. So if you short grain brown rice, then short green brown rice as a good water content, especially if it's been soaked, then that will help this the power to feel hydrated.

So it helps to the bone to feel hydrated ABS the rest of the body to feel hydrated. So that's a great food to start off and especially if you're detoxing because it helps to absorb also some of the negative toxins that we want to release from the body. So seed grains and if we're going to be given up glutinous grains you're saying well what do I eat you know if you eat a lot of rice, of wheat a lot of glutinous things like brands, pastors, etc. But now there's so many things on the market, there's so many alternatives that we can buy, you can get a gluten free brand. So you're gluten free pastors. Be mindful of the ingredients and some of the gluten free things because they're gluten free or sugar free then, or maybe when they gluten free, they put more sugar in now.

So just be mindful of the ingredients and other things. But especially if you're getting sensitivities or blocked in when you eat these things, then it might be a good idea to have a few months off at least. And then you may feel that you don't want to go back them or you may feel you want to introduce them gradually. It depends on your individual picture. So other things you can use are things like quinoa, quinoa was a seed, but it acts like a grain I mean it looks like a grain and it's very sustained in like agreement we eat it also so you can soak them also before eaten. It was soak them before cooking.

I mean you can even eat them. After you've sprouted them, and you can eat them like that without even cooking them. That's what a lot of raw food is still, but in the interim before you get into more raw food, then you could start using quinoa, buckwheat millette. Now, these are things you may not have used before but give them a try. With buckwheat in particular, it's good to soak or even roast First of all, you can buy it now roasted already, and it's really delicious. When it's roasted, ready, it takes less time to cook and it's very hydrating food.

Like I said, with all the other stuff, it's good to soak them also initially, and then it's more hydrated memory thinner. And it's much nicer to eat as well because there's much it's much more hydrated, there's a lot more water rich, and it's more satisfying as well. So those are some tips of some seed grains we can use instead of the glutinous grains which can help overwhelm cola also help to clean things up because it may be a long time. We've been doing this stuff for and it may take a little bit of time off the negative foods First of all, and then see how you go after that. We spoke briefly earlier about getting the water balance correct in the colon. So now there's some tips that you can use to have to hydrate the coal on this particular foods you can use the ones that we use in particular, Linden seeds are fantastic.

So if again, some organic seeds, preferably from the UK, if possible, because they're grown in the cloud, in a colder climate, then they have more omega threes in them and those the essential fatty acids that we need in particular for this in order to give the body a sense of hydration. So what we do with linseed oil, is soak them one tablespoon of linseed oil, two tablespoons of water. I'll just cover them with water. And then we leave them soak them for at least two hours, even up to eight hours. Put them in The fridge overnight for example, and then you could be taking them in the morning. You can either take them as they are, drink them down, it turns into like a gelatinous liquid.

You can drink them down as they are, you could put them over your cereal or whatever you have in some yogurt or wherever you have in the morning. And then that can help to fool the call on into believing that it's hydrated. So we'd like to suggest in the morning and in the evening, to have these soul cleanse seeds as it gives that body that element if the call on to believe that it's hydrated, and then the rest of the body starts to leave aside rated, then we can start to get ultimate health and well being contraindication Solon seems like that would be things like Crohn's disease and diverticulitis. So but it's very good for when people have got constipation, I feel congested then it's particularly Good to userland seeds then moving on from that you can trail NCT now Lindsey T is so Sue's into the system is absolutely delicious.

You use maybe Africa Berlin seeds to a couple of liters of water or a cup of incense to calculate the liters of water and then heated up to this point. Be careful though because when it starts to boil, sometimes it boils over. So bring it to the boil and then leave it simmer gently for around 10 minutes and then leave it cooled down a little. And then you can tip out the or filter out the liquid because it's like a gelatinous liquid by then filter that out from the seeds separate from the seeds and then drink it like like you would a cup of tea. And you may find that you feel really relaxed. So don't think maybe not do it during the day but maybe in the evening time like an hour or so before bed.

You start to feel really Relax is very soothing to the bone. It's very soothing for the system. As a top tip for hydrate and call on. You can also use things like psyllium husks, especially if you've if you're the opposite end of constipation. Then you can have two tablespoons of salt to taste teaspoons of psyllium husks oil and 50 mils of water one to two times a day and this can also have the power to help you from losing so frequently, and they help you to be more regular. So those are the top tips for the call on and how to connect the call on with the mind with your food choices so you can start having more positive mind
