Welcome back to step three, lesson four of build winning courses, we are creating effective objectives. And right now we're going to learn about how to pick verbs. So grab that verb sheet, it looks like this. Now, here's what I want you to recognize about selecting the right verb for your objective, you can only go from left to right that is to say, if you pick a range, once you arrange something, then you can sorted once you sorted, then you can adjust the arrangement, then you can analyze it now, it doesn't always have to go across on a straight line. It does however, go from left to right. When you think about starting and objective with analyze, X, Y or Z, that means you've also assumed that you're going to tell them how to arrange a sort and adjust or define and sort and advise some supplement moves from left to right.
So you can start with adjust. But you need to understand that means you're also either assuming they know how to arrange and sort of where you're going to teach them criteria for doing that. You can't advocate for Example or a praise without calculating or adjusting and describing and defining. So it only goes left to right. So now it's time to apply this to your course the one you're working on for yourself. You know so much more about your audience now and about what they need to be able to do, or need to know that you're not so sure they know or can do now, apply what you've learned to your course.
Use the instructions and the activity on Step three, lesson four in your workbook and I'll see you soon
