So I wanted to make this video to talk a little bit about focus. And this has probably been one of the most difficult areas for me, I'm sure, as you can see, just going through a lot of the content, I've actually worked on all kinds of different things. I've been interested in learning, really all sorts of different skills. And what I've kind of realized is that if I had really put more effort into one area from the start, I probably would have been having more success with that particular area. So what I've actually decided as of recently was instead of say, working on a podcast working on like my Amazon sites working on all these other things, I've kind of started to make some money with some of the stuff I have going. So I've sort of cut out some things that I feel like are making me a stray from the projects I'd really like to get done.
And I'm currently really focused on Udemy and I'm also building out a store where I'm going to be drop shipping products. Previously, I talked about that in one of the other videos, but the main thing I really wanted to get across was that if you really want to succeed, kind of as an entrepreneur and building your own business, whatever it is, you really want to get focused. And if you really need to eventually find help with things, you could hire virtual assistants, through places like Upwork, to source out some of those tedious tasks, things like that, that you may not want to do yourself. And that will allow you to really focus yourself on the bigger aspects of a project. I've actually got someone at this very minute working on adding products to my store, I don't really want to be doing that myself. And that's not something I want to focus my time on.
I'd rather focus my time on some bigger stuff like marketing my website and getting traffic to it. So like I said, the biggest thing we want to do when it comes to starting out with online businesses don't, don't kind of go astray in doing all these things. Don't go spending money on all these different products. I used to do that I used to go on a place called the Warrior Forum and I would buy all kinds of different products and read through them and then never do anything with Find something that really works. I guarantee you there's nothing that's an overnight success, you really just have to put a lot of time and effort into it, and believe in yourself that it's actually going to work and just continue to work at it. I've even had people naysay me on certain things, and I continued with it anyways, and then now it's making me money.
So don't believe everything that everyone says, you don't want to let people tear down things that you want to work on or that you feel will work. So that's just something else. I wanted to really throw out that it's very important. I found people say to me, oh, yeah, I really don't like this blah, blah, blah. But, you know, if you're in it for yourself, then stick with it. And I guarantee you're gonna eventually have success.
If you put at least I'd say six months into it. If you're doing any less than that, then it probably isn't enough time to really see if it's gonna work for you.
