In this segment, we're going to demonstrate a slit wrist. This is a type of cut, obviously, but more three dimensional. And again, we'll be using our prosaic case. The one thing you should know about doing a slip wrist is where to begin. And so when you bend your wrist, you'll see the wrinkle lines form here, you cannot go any further. This has to be your top edge of your buildup.
Because if you do and get into this area when your mild actor moves and they will move, it will totally Distort and destroy your piece. Even if you were putting a prosthetic on. It would have to be super sin here and you'd want your cup blow because again, it would reveal that something fake is glued to their arm as it would the wrinkles distort whatever's there. So that said, we'll carry on. To make our split wrist. We're going to use the pros a pace we made earlier.
Some people call this body bondo seam filler. So if you're around different people, it's known by different things. You noticed, I want the bulk of the weight of what we're doing in the middle. So I'm slowly using my stir stick to move it around. I mean, use a wider spatula to spread it. You could do something like this with, let's say, third degree on a mirror and pre make it.
Again, you have to send out the edges so you try not to get too far away, but at the same time you need this to be a gradual build up so that it's not obvious that there's a big patch of glue when you get close to the shaking wand you Get your flat brush and water in the river, wider brush. Obviously, the nice big flat, smooth brush will make this a lot easier. You want to work relatively quickly because again the fine edges of this are drying while you're working long you wait, you end up causing yourself a whole bunch of other problems to try to get as many of the speed bumps. A little bit of brushstroke is fine because if you notice the real skin has fine little lines in it. Ticket tissue and dab of excess water on the side and this is a read sponge, you can get these in any makeup store.
Certainly still sell them and a lot of pharmacies are selling them as well. So with this very carefully touch, add little skin texture on it breaks up your brushstrokes. You don't want to touch down too hard because you can see that does to glue surface. But the idea is to create a little bit of skin pores before that to this before we dry. So I do that and then I go over once more with my feet wet brush. Again, to texture it, you have to go really really lightly.
Barely touch this surface. Okay. Once you're happy with that, can you take your spatula, you make your incision Don't worry about it being 100% clean. It's a little played on the edges actually looked at more nasty. Again once you have it the way you like it, you get your hairdryer. to color this we're gonna switch it up and I'm gonna use a Jordanian pilot.
The flesh colored body impressions No skin is made out of one tone. So we're going to mix up three varying light shades to match a Trina's pale flesh and then I'll color in the veins to continue it on. The idea is to make this glue patch look like it's part of her using the click brush to add a basic color gang to cover this with Chris Payne with any foundation. The great thing about the prosaic case it takes it off and see by marrying the different colors how it's slowly going the interest. Again if your color seems too opaque then just add a little more color to the pigment and also doing this you realize the importance of a makeup kit. They don't get make a polo for everybody.
Every time everything can when you get close to the color you want. And you can go in with a sponge, kind of clean up the edges, just trying to knock down some of the spackle I switch it palettes and go back to our effects colors. Basically, painting the veins pattern that we covered over and being aware the taste is really sick and see how easy to disturb the surface. In that vein color under the skin. Try and get in line with her You go back. See the coasters looking like it's more under the skin again.
I chosen a color a little darker just so you can see the difference. Again, knock that down even more when you're happy with that part and we go back to completing the illusion. Okay nominees my flip brush and add a little more splatter to make it a little more gross. I made that blood a little deeper splatterhouse camouflage some of the unwanted texture and the veins we painted on you noticed it even push farther under insert to make it look like it's all part of the arm. And the last thing to add is some blood I like to mix up a couple shades. adds depth to the wound looks more violent and vile.
So she can open it up, close it, pretty much do whatever within reason. Some more user you'll notice the wrinkles a bit because again, it's not her skin but for just being dead, laying limp. There you have a slip wrist
