Hello, in this video I am going to show you the bass line widget. So if we look at what we've got here, we've got free text widgets, and a big one that we just to go to regular ones. This word in the middle of thing. Wow, that is a separate text widget. And that's what we're going to apply the baseline widget to. And so what the baseline would you basically does it actually I'll just show you the benefit to show you.
And to create one new baseline. You need to apply this stuff. Say five comma here. Now can birth child put this in it there are two required parameters and even baseline. They could just put no for now. baseline type no for now.
Save it and see We get, so we get error because we actually need baselines. And this they found zero for now this has to be a double. And if you're going to do this converted, the baseline type has to be one of these, I just recommend alphabetic one. Let's save it. As you can see the differences is moved to the top of the you know, the actual overall row. So the rows height is determined by the largest, so to confirm the largest widget inside of it, which happened to this, which happened to be this big pink Hello, well, if I was to put a number here like 100, for example, that's what we get.
So it basically will return 100 logical pixels from the baseline which is the top of that parent aina. And what's great is you can open up dental services and great for position individual item, you know, relative to the baseline compared to Patty which is relative to the current position. The other great thing is that you can actually put a minus value. So if you wanted a slightly higher sum maybe you wanted. So imagine this if I put this on the two. And I think when you probably look pretty good, I see know a little bit lower.
I can see it almost looks like it's saying hello world squared. So that's a great way of being able to position items and essentially, get a format which you otherwise wouldn't be able to use in regular text. So that's it for the baseline constructor, where I will do is provide you with a link so you can see the different, you know, baseline, I mean, the baseline types, but really, this is all you need to know. If you have any questions, feel free to pop me a message. And as usual, I look forward to seeing you in the next video.
