All right. The next lecture is going to be about education and certificates, guys. And so this is super important as well, from the pic spective if you have experience or not experience, so if you have limited experience, and you want to show off your highest one first highest level of education, so if you've had a Master's, if you had a bachelor's degree, if you had a PhD, if you just finished high school, that's cool. Just make sure you put your highest level of education within the height within the closest one to the top. So yeah, if it's obviously if a master's in a Bachelor's you want to put batch masters first and bachelor's and obviously the year of completion the institution that you went to. So a common question is, should I put my marks in there?
Great question. I've ministered to ask that question. So here's my answer. And here's a few tricks and tips to help Through this education certificate section. So if you have low marks, let's just say there are 60% or less, which is a past a 50 to 60. And some institutions mean 50 to 65, I would not put it in your resume, just leave it blank, they'll find out anyway, but just make sure your resume look better.
If your marks are good, let's just say they're like 70 to 8585. Plus, you obviously want to put it in any academic awards you have as well. Let it be golden key membership, let it be honors, let it be most outstanding student award. All those types of achievements that you may have racked up as you studied shows something about you shows that you're dedicated to and to apply yourself to a disciplined and make sure that you can succeed. So all the time people who study well, not always the case, but who study really well who achieve good things in academics, it may translate to doing well and achieving good things in the workplace as well. So that's what you got to understand.
So long Have students especially people who have limited experience to understand that actually marks do matter. University marks do matter, especially if you want to be a good accountant. Or if you want to be a good financial analyst either way. So what are the things that could you put in education certificate section so if you're writing this right now, as I'm talking, what you can put in there is any accreditation that you have, that a B certificate falls, whether it be a CFA, a C, a, you know, a public speaking course that you've done, or any relevant and anything at all that shows that you're committed to something that you have expertise in something or rather, if you are someone who has experience and you have lots of work is let's say it's two to five years or even greater than you want to put your education kind of credentials, kind of, you know, at the back end of your work experience.
So you would have general information, professional summary skills, skills, and then work experience. And then your education but if you're a student or if you're someone has limited experience, you put education once again towards the top of your resume so that you know people see that you can be qualified, you're qualified person in terms of being graduated from a finance degree or accounting degree, and that you have the necessary foundation to be able to do an entry level job at a bank or accounting firm wherever institution that you're applying for.
