There's an emotion scan chart that you can choose a negative emotion. And this negative emotion for the client will be the emotion that triggers their negative life patterns. So this will be an emotion that they often feel and opposite. The negative emotion is their positive emotion where they need to focus on. So this is where you direct your client on where to focus. Now we're up to stage 1.5, which is where we find the emotion that runs the negative life patterns.
This is the way Emily feels, which then creates her patterns. So I bring the arm up in a 45 degree angle, I asked the Emily to maintain her arm in that position. I applied pressure Like requesting a locked muscle, and the muscle stays nice and strong. So now I'm going to count from one to 17. Because there's 17 emotions listed. I'll do it in increments of 10.
I ask Emily to maintain the muscle locked physician, apply the pressure, and it's not locked in firm. Good. So now I'll do increments one to 10. And I get a change. So now I'm going to go increments of five. So maintain back to a lot.
Yes, I make sure it's locked first. Then I say one to five, no change. So I know it's going to be five to 10. I maintain the muscle for five, six, and seven and I get this shift on seven so I know it's seven. Seven is guilt. So Emily feels guilty.
That's what creates her pens. I would make sense when someone is highly judgmental of themselves, then that means that they're not doing it right. They're guilty of not getting it right. So they're beating themselves up and they feel guilty for not getting things how it should be or not being perfect. So this emotion needs to shift and if you look at the emotion, there's a positive emotion on the opposite side. And it's freedom freedom is the opposite or the positive emotion for feeling guilty.
So what we now know is that is where Emily now needs to focus her, her energy, and how she needs to feel used to feel free to release this emotion of feeling guilty.
