Hi. So I've connected my gh five to a monitor to hopefully give you a better view of the display and the actual software menu. So what we're looking at is a screen and you can see my audio output, which is something I've added at the bottom we can see that the shutter speed is 3040. So that's what that is. This is the aperture which can be adjusted with the top wheel. And we have our ISO, our exposure and that's slot one.
Over here, it's showing us that we have stabilization in body and in the lens This is showing us that we have our autofocus on so you can see I'm switching it from AF s to continuous autofocus and manual. Over here is our video resolution, 4k 30 frames per second a bit. We're not using Flash standard color profile, and this shows us what mode that we're in. We're ready to actually look at the menu. So let's go into the menu by pressing Menu set. Alright, so we're using the nipple to go through the menu.
So the very top we have our aspect ratio, the photo size, so we can adjust that or we can use the nipple by clicking left on the nipple just to get out of that item. We can see the number of pages For each menu icon, so this page, not sure if you can see that there's five pages. So there's a lot of things that I haven't even touched yet. So we'll just quickly scroll through here and I'll tell you if there's something I've adjusted self timer set to 10 seconds. This is the video area. And I'm going to drill down into how we can set the fast shutter speed rates to get the super smooth slow motion in a bit.
But this is where we can change the video resolutions. I usually shoot my recording formats in mov but this mp4 RPC m format, I believe has the most variety and allows you to get The most bit rates, but again, check on the latest firmware updates because that may change but for now I'm just shooting an mp4 LPC M. All right, so let's keep scrolling down. I've turned the mic level display on. All right, then we have more adjustments over here. You can adjust what the function buttons do. Ivan justed anything here.
And if you're a video person, this is where you can turn z patterns on for overexposed areas, or peaking. If you're using manual focus, it will zoom in on manual focus so it's a little bit easier to focus. I really like that feature. Okay, so that's in the lens area of the first wrench with the see. Now the regular wrench is where a lot of your general settings are going to come. So let's take a look at that.
Let's go to page one. So this is where you can do things like set your clock. I've got a lesson where I demo the Wi Fi and this is where you would set it up. You would go to Wi Fi function, you can select a new connection, you do have to download the Panasonic image app. Alright, so that's the Wi Fi area. Bluetooth is where you can set headphone volume.
And the actual monitor display on the camera can adjust things like that. rightness there. I sensor I leave it on. And the one function that you will use is format so you can click Format you can choose which slot you want to format. And yeah, there's a lot to go through really but I haven't adjusted too much in the menu but that's just a little preview of the menu functions. And now we're going to go through the different video resolutions.
I'm going to show you how to set super smooth slow motion for 4k and one ADP
