Welcome to draping for fashion design where you will be able to use fabric and start positioning and painting fabric onto a dress form in order to develop the structure for new ideas and new designs using the draping process. My name is Nino via I was an instructor at phenom fidm Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, where I taught many different classes in fashion designing from sketching pad and making sewing etc. I am your instructor. After taking this course you will feel confident in using fabric as a source of inspiration to create your ideas and bring them to life. Even though this is a basic course in draping where Yes, you will learn how to draw they wander bottles, and to Dart bottles and a basic skirt. You will also learn things that are a little more advanced like draping a circle skirt and a basic dress.

If you are pursuing your interests in fashion design, maybe you know some sewing, maybe you're putting your ideas on paper through sketching, or you know some pattern making well then this course will add a whole new dimension to your knowledge of the fashion design process. If you've taken any of my other courses in pattern making, and sketching, and collection development, well then this is a great addition to your learning experience of fashion design.
