Learn about what makes a presentation memorable. Nat takes you through her list of five things that are essential to making a great presentation.

Come back to this. But I want to start thinking about what makes a good presentation because we don't want to just do any old presentation, we want to do presentation feeder. What do you think the most important element of a fantastic presentation is? Now we've come up with this list of five things. And this list has come from a few different areas. So one, it's come from our own personal experience of being in an audience watching different speakers, looking at YouTube watching TED Talks, but also reading the literature and seeing what other experts have to say about what makes a good presentation.

And these are the five things that we're going to focus on today. First one is making a clear point, not jumbling your ideas with a whole lot of detail that people forget. We want you to have a conversational time. It doesn't matter if you're speaking to an audience of one or an audience of 1000. Every individual wants to feel Like you're talking to me, no one enjoys a presentation that sounds like this on really excited to have everybody here today. Thank you for coming.

You want me to talk to you, right? So you need to have that conversational tone. visuals visuals are great. Now, stretch your idea of visuals beyond PowerPoint. Okay? visuals might be how you are visually presenting the ideas that you're speaking some of the best speaking presentations that I've seen.

There's been no PowerPoint, no slides, but the the person giving the speech is the visual, they use the body, the the, they might move, the gestures, that sort of thing helps aid the presentation. So visuals are very important. being genuine. We don't want it let's go back to that sales our group before again Think about the two different types of salesman in the car, you know, the cheesy car salesman, there's no genuine feeling there whatsoever. They are really pushy. And all we're talking about is the features of the product, and they're really pushing it home and you don't feel a really good connection, compared to the salesperson that really genuinely is passionate about the product that wants to know wants to know that you're actually going to get some good use out of it.

And that really connects with you when they're making a sale. You've got to be genuine to make a genuine connection with people. And the last one is stories. We're going to talk about how we can use stories within a presentation. Stories are a great way to connect with people and they're a great way to express ideas.
