So I've got some really good news for you. The good news is that public speaking is a skill. Now, why is it good news? It's good news because it means you can practice to get better.
You're not born with public speaking skills, or you're not born without public speaking skills. It's a skill that you can practice and learn and get better at over time. Now, this should be a relief to anybody that doesn't feel like you're good at public speaking because like any other skill, it's something that you can implement strategies to get better at and today, we're going to be talking about some of those strategies that you can use to get better at public speaking. So get some confidence from it. Don't be shy. to try something new, let go of some of those fears.
Now you filled in a survey at the start of the webinar, and there was a real mixed bunch of sort of reasons why people were coming to the webinar, but a lot of you mentioned the F word, fear. Now, I want to make sure that you understand one simple thing. No one has died from public speaking. Fear is something that you can overcome. And so we're going to talk about that today. And we're going to see if we've got some strategies that can help you overcome your fear of public speaking
