Hi, and welcome to the course all about Lyme disease from diagnosis to treatment and prevention. Why did I choose the topic of Lyme disease? You might be wondering, Why did I choose this topic? There has been a dramatic increase in the incidence of Lyme disease in the US.

Also, Lyme disease is the second most common vector borne illness and the most common tick borne illness in the country.
