This course covers topics that are commonly used by Microsoft Excel users.
As an instructor, I am often asked about Pivot Tables, Vlookup and IF statements, this course covers these three topics and much more.
You will learn how to name cells and ranges and add conditional formatting to create a visually impacting spreadsheet. The Pivot Tables section encourages users to manipulate data quickly and seamlessly. Vlookups and Hlookups are often used to compare data, these are explained with great examples to help you understand how they work. Database tools, such as Subtotals and CountIf functions enable you to quickly summarise and report on data.
There is a great section on charts, demonstrating how to use charts to show dynamic data. The maps section covers how to use the Excel maps feature to display data regionally within a map. The follow on course from this course is the advanced excel course.
You should have a basic understanding of Microsoft Excel and be able to navigate around the Excel interface.
