Welcome back to your 21 Day Challenge. Let's go ahead and get started with a few deep breaths and then we will get right into it. Here we go. Ready? All right. Well, anyway, that aside, does feel good, but we're actually going To kind of dive right in, um, but I want to go ahead and start with us warming up our neck and things like that.
But then we're going to get into some more challenging things. So go ahead and switch over to the side. Oh, today we are going to talk about pristine words or as before even calls it being impeccable with your word. And there's a lot to this one, and it is such a vital thing. So be impeccable with your word means that you are not only just speaking truth, but that you are speaking with good intentions. They were following through with what you You've said what you say and that you are saying only what you need.
Right? That's being impeccable with your words. Another aspect of the the impeccable with your words concept is that you avoid lies. Gossip, negative self talk. That's a big one. I know we're all guilty of that.
And all that you're using your words, just even in just your mind, if not in your conversations with people or talking out loud or whatever, that you are being really diligent about being honest, being trustworthy. Following through all those kinds of things are so important because where's that power? We all know this. We've all been there. So at the end of really terrible words that harm death and all that there's a bit of a word that just lifted us up and give us life. Right?
So we want to speak words that are life giving that are true that are that are noble, that encourage people and that, you know, provide that life, right? We don't want words a death and that kind of thing. So we're going to get right into it and then I got started talking. Okay, so actually, we're going to start by just going to Romania for our baskets little sort of shoehorn around right now we're sitting in there ready to go. So, yes, so he is humble with our words. And one really good rule of thumb for knowing what to say If you're considering reacting to something, or even if you're just in general, this is such a great filter to use four things to consider when you're speaking.
And those four things are, is it true? One and then two, isn't wise? Three, is it kind? And then four? isn't the right time. Okay, and if your words don't pass that test, what do you think you're gonna say does not pass that test with flying colors?
Did you at least hear what you're saying? Right? Because, you know, there's gonna be circumstances when it needs three. Let's say that it's true. Um, why the kinds but it's in the middle layer, you know, of a roomful of people that you're going to have a conversation is every time? Probably not, right?
Or it could be something where it could be something where it is true and it is why. And it might be the right time, but it is the way that you're going to say it kinds and if not, is that a different way to say it? So, usually those four things as sort of your filter into your guideline is so helpful. Because being impeccable with your word means those right? So right now I'm going to do is actually do a demo like this. If you want, you can kind of help through one leg at a time.
Whatever feels good. Another great thing to think about is the concept A Little House on the Prairie and the mom talked about this filter to us, which is also really good, really good. Please hold it for a second. She said if wizards ways, you wisely speak five things observe with care. To whom you speak, of whom you speak, and how and when and where. Look hard today.
Right? Great filter as well because it stops you a little bit and makes you think, okay, who am I speaking to right now, of whom am I seeing? When again is a very time where the right situation or It plays and, you know, those filters have kind of stopping and making sure that what you're saying is exactly what you need to say that he would follow through. That's true and all those things that is such a difference in your trustworthiness for other people, right. And so of course, we want to think about those things we want. We want ourselves to be impeccable with our words.
We want other people to trust us. And we would want the same from somebody else too. You don't want to deal with people that are not impeccable with your word, right? It's really frustrating. No one was. So really focus on that.
Let's go ahead and do some affirmations. So Ready? Okay, and so we sat back by the way A good thing to think about you if you want to interlaced and really push back. So here we go. I am impeccable with my words. I speak only truth.
I speak words that are wise. I speak words that are kind of I see words at the right place at the right time. I speak words that give life I always follow through on my words. I am impeccable with my work Okay, excellent. Okay, challenge and every day but especially today, think about in your daily conversations did you go along today? really considered those things?
Again, is it true? Is it Why is it time is a great time? Okay, if your words, pass that test, then go ahead and share them right? If not reconsider before you speak. So use today as sort of your today a day and think about your conversations differently, really filter what you're about to say through those lenses. And then see, is this really what I want to say here?
Is this really the way I want to say it? Yeah. Or is this really the right time to really consider that today? Think through your conversation. I'd love to know how it goes. I mean, I know how it goes.
There are days where I do a lot better with this and others. But that's why we're here. And so part of detoxing is getting away because of course, it's getting rid of negative things. And one of those things is not being honest. It's gossiping. It's mine.
It's negative self talk, right? remove that. We're not going to do that anymore. We're going to be aware and mindful of the way we speak and what we speak, and we're just going to be right, great. All right. Keep exploring, and be awesome.
See you tomorrow.
