It's perfect for those who are new to detoxing. It's exactly what you need to discover what your body thrives on and what it doesn't. And it's an essential step in reclaiming your gut health.
During this detox, please support yourself. Take hot Epsom salt baths or magnesium salt bath at night before bed. This helps to remove some of those toxins that you've been building up. Be sure to drink plenty of water about half your body weight in ounces. So if you're 120 pound woman, a good guideline would be to drink 60 ounces of water a day. Half a cup of bone broth each day.
I really love epic brand. I prefer their chicken bone broth. What the bone broth will help you do is to cut your gut and sort of ease the inflammation in your gut. Consider taking a gluten ion supplement to support your liver during the detox period. Get a massage, which will help your body remove toxins. Even better if you could find someone who does full body lymphatic massages.
If not, consider giving yourself a lymphatic face massage every morning while you're moisturizing your face. Here are the foods that you'll be removing during this detox sugar and alcohol. grains, dairy, soy, eggs, caffeine, including decaf coffee nightshades, lagoons and tree nuts. These are common food allergens Many of these such as caffeine, sugar and alcohol, are highly inflammatory. So it's really important to remove those just for the detox period. What you'll be adding though, are lots and lots of Whole Foods.
Skip the processed foods for now. have healthy fats, lots of veggies and low glycemic fruits, animal proteins, herbal teas, and seeds. And remember when you're doing this detox, it's really important to try to stick with organic foods if possible. And for animal proteins, try to find organic and free range animal proteins. For the timeline, try the elimination detox diet for three weeks so your immune system can quiet down. If you feel you already have a pretty clean diet, you might be able to reduce this to two weeks.
But for those of us who've been on a standard American diet, three weeks is really what you need in order to flush out your system and to quiet your immune system down and you'll start to see some detox symptoms. You might feel like you have a slight cold, or you might even feel like you have a bad flu. So take care of yourself during this time. Try to get to the full three weeks so that you're at a point where you're not feeling flu like symptoms, or cold symptoms. At the end of the detox, reintroduce foods one at a time, test one food for two days, and then on the third day, don't have this food. If you don't have any symptoms throughout those three days.
Then on the fourth day, you could reintroduce the next food. Really important point for the grains. Try to reintroduce gluten free grains first and then introduce Do gluten grains second, so try to break those out into two different introduction date. Symptoms to watch for. And these are just basic symptoms. There are other symptoms so just really pay attention to your body.

These reactions usually will be pretty acute, so pay attention to those next results.
The results of the elimination detox diet is that you'll know which foods work for you for your body right now, it doesn't mean that these foods will be off your list forever, but for now, definitely consider leaving them off your list. Next, you'll have reset your body's threshold for sweets, alcohol and caffeine and you'll find that you'll crave them much, much less. You'll also be much more hydrated and have more energy.
