Final exercise will be a relief because it's a little bit easier. It's called a tooth check. I don't know if you've ever had a meal, and you just feel like there's a lot of stuff just caught in between your teeth, and you sweep your tongue around your whole mouth, trying to collect anything extra that might be there. Well, our purpose for this movement is not to clear food from our mouth. However, we do want to extend the range of motion for our tongue as we stretch our friend Yella. How do you do this?
You close your lips and you place your tongue tip up under a molar and slide around to the opposing molar. Then you turn it down on the lower motors and slide around. All of this is done behind your lips and in front of your teeth. You want to perform three of these in rap petition two to three times daily. These pictures demonstrate how exactly you would lift up the tongue up and over the teeth, it almost is creating a nice concavity within the middle of your tongue in order to reach out and over, and then you're going to slide around, and then you flip the tongue. So if you start downward, as in the picture that's on the right, you want to make sure that you're going to slide all the way across from molar molar and then flip the tongue up and slide all the way across back molar.
Well, this has concluded your exercises. So you have completed the exercises. Now what?
