Our next exercise is the lizard tongue. This exercise is wonderful for stretching the French alum, both pre and after the release as well. We want to start by pointing our tongue straight out and then pointed downwards. So it's the exact opposite of the hide and go seek. We don't want to isolate our tongue and just have it, you know, standing up on its own, we want to point it as far down as possible. You are really going to stretch that friendly alum, it does not feel comfortable at all.
And you're going to hold that for three seconds, and then come up. You want to do 15 repetitions of this daily, however, I do not advise that you do all 15 in one sitting, I would prefer you split it up and do five, five and five. That way, you're able to Get as much of a stretch as possible without over tiring yourself. Our goal is to attain greater extension of the tongue and stretch that Freni alone. We've got a wonderful picture of our lizard tongue with our same Alf model from before. What's great about this picture is that I always point out, a lizard tongue stretch is perfect.
If your tongue has little dimple in it near the tongue tip, that dimple or that heart shaped end is wonderful. As an indication that you are stretching the friend limb. This is the way I am able to see it as an outsider. This is the way you may visualize it as you do this exercise in a mirror. However, I do know that you will feel that you are getting this stretch as well. So while it will be important that Initially, you do look for that heart shape or that little dimpling of the tongue tip.
Do know that eventually you will just feel the stretch and you'll know that you have reached your maximum extension.
