The course provides a detailed introduction to the canine quality of life, cognition, communication, training, mental health, problems, solutions, general wellness and has been developed for those that want to specialize in this field. 

Units of study:

• Unit 1 -      Canine quality of life - This unit covers canine's quality of life and the five freedoms
• Unit 2 -      Canine cognition - This unit covers dogs cognition and how it impacts the quality of life
• Unit 3 -      Canine communication - This unit covers communication and expressions.
• Unit 4 -      Canine training - This unit covers training and conditioning
• Unit 5 -      Canine mental health - This unit covers the importance of enrichment
• Unit 6 -      Canine behavioral problems and solutions - This unit covers unwanted behavior in dogs with solutions.
• Unit 7 -      Canine physical wellness - This unit covers how exercise and diet influence physical wellness.
