Originally it started as a simple creative story for children (Mr. Goose Risk and Reward). The story developed characters from the river and characterized them by bringing in universal themes of positive risk-taking and personal resilience.
Taking KRisk's team's extensive knowledge and experience across all educational sectors for adults we felt there was a need to improve risk and resilience awareness and knowledge of best practices for school education. Our team worked very closely with many teaching professionals and government bodies.

What:
The online resources are presented in slides and video overviews to help guide the teachers through each section.
The pathway follows the story of the Mr. Goose book, with an audiobook, and video reading of the book for teachers to play with the children.
Teachers are provided their own online overview of risk and resilience best practices to ensure they understand the fundamentals (the video resource is easy to follow and is closely aligned with training we provide to international risk institutes for continuous professional development).
A series of risk and resilience workshops aligned to the story of the book and the curriculum for excellence is provided.
The characters in the book's behaviors have been translated to music with each character having their own song reflecting their personality. The music workshops allow teachers to explore the music to discuss emotions. The workshops also extend to teaching the children about music, instruments, dance, and movement.
We designed the primary/elementary package so that teachers can simply take the online resources and deliver them. The age groups of children who benefit from it are from the ages of 4-11 years.
