Before you take an action, you have a thought that prompts you to take that action.
The thought is the seed, the mother lode, the force, thoughts influence everything from your to do list to your self esteem. In fact, your thoughts are often the very agents that say sabotage your self esteem. How many times have you had self deprecating thoughts? Like, I'm so fat? I'm so stupid. I can't do anything right?
I'm not good enough. No one wants to listen to what I have to say. Or I'm just not good at you fill in the blank. Don't downplay the destructiveness of these types of thoughts. On second thought, don't even think of them as thoughts. Think of them as mental programming.
Because you're constantly programming your brain for either success or failure for action, or procrastination, for healthy self esteem, or the lack thereof. You see, you're a powerful creator. So take charge of your programming. Watch your thoughts. Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down. But a good word makes him glad.
