All I'm doing is promising them some free information, and then I'll redirect them to someone else's website, where they'll see the information in the sales video.

However, a different way of doing this is to actually offer them something for free. For example, a report or something have that kind so that you would further entice them to enter their name and email. When it comes to creating that report, there are two reasons you should want to create a report. First of all, it is going to help you get a better conversion rate on your squeeze page. More people are going to enter their name and email if they know exactly what they're getting. The second thing is you will build your brand by offering the report.

If they see you've created a product and you've put your name on it, and you provide information based on your expertise, then they will definitely look at you as an authority. That's the second reason you would want to do this. However, you might think I'm not an authority, how can I create a product, I don't have the knowledge. I'm not an expert, and so on. That's completely normal. That's something I used to struggle with in the beginning as well.
