In the previous video, we talked about how to get your hosting how to find a domain name. And I actually showed you how to install WordPress and set yourself up so that we can install a website and some pages that we need in order to make this whole system actually work. The next thing that I want to talk about is optimized press. As you can see here, it says marketing site creation made easy. The thing with this optimized press plugin is that it works with WordPress and it allows you to create a lot of pages quite easily. It allows you to create landing pages, which is important for us and which I want to focus on in this course.

I'm going to show you how to create landing pages and we're also going to talk about some other different types of pages that you can create with optimized press. Optimize press is pretty much a tool that you absolutely have to have if you want to do anything more Marketing related. Of course, you can pay programmers, you can get people to do stuff for you custom coding and whatnot. But all of that is going to be quite more expensive than just getting optimized press and doing everything yourself in just a few minutes. As you can see a lot of entrepreneurs and online business leaders use optimized press me included. I've been using it for years, very happy with it.

As you can see, the core package starts at $97. You can use it on three of your own websites, which I think is more than enough. If you're just starting out. My recommendation is that you get optimized press. Of course, you don't have to. I'm going to show you exactly what we're going to do with optimized press in case you're maybe a web designer or you have someone who can help you out with that.

And definitely you can go that route as well. Otherwise, I do recommend getting optimized press because it's going to be a lot cheaper than hiring programmers, designers and coders to do this kind of stuff for you. Now I already have on optimize press obviously. So once you sign up, you're going to get your login details, you're going to get into the members area that looks something like this. And then you'll want to download the theme, just download this theme. And then we go back to our WordPress website that we installed in the previous video, we want to go to appearance and then themes.

Then we want to go to Add New. Let's click on Upload theme. I just downloaded this file, I downloaded it from the optimized press members area we're going to do is just drag and drop it there and click Install Now. Now we need to give it a second for this to upload. That's a pretty small file, so it's not going to take too long. We're going to do now is actually pause the video and I'll come back once this is done.

And then we'll continue and I'll show you exactly what you need to do next. See you in a second. All right, we're at 99% and it looks like it's 100. Now, unpacking the package, installing the theme and it's installed. Now the next thing I want to do is click Activate, give it just a second to load. There we go.

Now it's giving us an error message, of course, which is okay, all we need to do is copy an API key from the optimized press members area, which I already did. So I'm just going to copy it in here. I'm going to click Save Settings, you get your own API key. Once you sign up for optimized press, let's give it a second to connect with optimized press and make sure that the key is legit. Then it's going to activate all the features for us, then we can get to work. Basically, the goal of this video is to show you how to create squeeze pages, powerful landing pages that you can use to get people to sign up to your email list.

And quickly grow your email list with that. As soon as you install it, you're going to see that you have some templates here that you can use. There's a lot of different stuff in here. Right now we care about opt in landing pages. You can go with simple stuff, or you can go with the more complex stuff. Now I'm going to show you an example.

A simple one, just so you can see how easy it is to create an engaging landing page. Let's say we want to go with this one, just click use this template. Now we want to name our page. Let's give it a name, simple formula for making money from home and click Create Page. There we go. Now this is the live editor for optimized press which is going to allow us to quickly and easily edit the page over here, as you can see already has pretty much a template from them.

All you need to do is quickly edit the template that is going to work for you. Here's what I want to do. When I click here on the Edit icon, this part over here you can edit and actually put your own name in there. For example, if you have experience with weight loss, then you can put weight loss expert or fitness expert then of course put your own name in there. revealed colon and then that's when you can leave this in, or you can put digital marketing expert, and then you put your name in there. Once you're done editing this, you don't need to change anything else.

Just go down here and click Insert. As you can see, this changes immediately. That's the pre headline. The next thing that we have is the main headline, which we can also edit by clicking on this little pen icon over here. It says the simple three step formula for building marketing sites that convert, let's say, we want to focus on showing people how to make money from home. In that case, we would do the simple and proven formula for making money online from the comfort of your own home.

One thing that I like to look at when I do these headlines is that the first line should always be a bit longer than the second line. What I'm going to do now is just move money from up there, and then do this. And there we go. Now let me click insert and see what this looks like. This Simple proven formula for making money online from the comfort of your own home. Enter your name and email below for instant access to the free report and more valuable training.

In this case, they like to give away a free report, you can do that too. If you have something that you want to give away for free, then that's definitely an option. However, in case you don't have anything to give away for free, and you're not willing to create that report, that's also okay, because here's what you can do. You can say, enter your name and email below for instant access to this free information and more valuable training. And then just click Insert. I'm actually going to go back and do the thing that I explained previously.

You want to move these things up so that the first sentence is always longer is going to look better that way. So go back and insert and there we go. Now, here's the trick. If you want to give away a free report, then you can definitely create a little free report or you can download an existing one, edit it a little bit, put your own name on it and then give it away. Way to people and get them to give you their name and email in order to build your email list. However, the other option would be not to give them a free report and just promise to give them access to free information.

What you're actually doing when they enter their name and email is you're redirecting them to a sales video for an affiliate offer. In that sales video, they're going to learn more about this simple formula, they're going to get the information that you told them about and watching this sales video. sales video is of course free, so you're not lying to them in any way. These are the two options that you can go with. One is getting a report done, and then emailing it to them in exchange for their name and email, basically bribing them to give you their name and email. And then the other option is to just redirect them to an affiliate offer where what you promise here in the headline is explained.

It can be a sales video, that's completely fine, as long as it's explained here in the headline. Once you're done with that we've got this form to take care of. Click here on this edit icon. Give it a second to load. Now for integration type, we want to click here and click custom form. Remember in one of the previous videos, when I showed you how to set up a Weber, I said that I'm going to keep the tab open, and then come back to it a bit later on.

This is what I'm going to go back to AWeber. I'm going to go back to that tab that was open and I'm going to click on it, I might have to re log in as it's been a few minutes. Actually, it might have been an hour since I did that. So I'm going to go ahead and just log in again. Give me just a second. There we go.

Now that I'm in, I want to make sure that I'm selecting the correct list. This is the list we're wanting to place people on. Then I want to click signup forms. Remember the signup form that we did previously for this, this is where it should be located. Previously, we actually did the signup form for health and fitness product and we didn't do it for the online money making tips. You know what, let me do that real quick right now just to show you how you can do these signup forms in literally a minute.

So let's go ahead and click on Create your own first signup form. Really, all I want to do is go to step two, and then change this and put in make money from home squeeze page. That's what I'm going to put this on. Then over here, if you remember, you want to go with custom page and just put your affiliate offer link in there. In this case, I'm just going to put google.com and obviously you want to get that link from Clickbank or whatever affiliate link you have and just paste it in there. With the already subscribed page, you want to do the same thing.

You want to copy it and paste it in there. The same link that you've placed above, you want to do the same thing with the already subscribed page. Let's click save your form and go to Step three. Over here you want to click I will install my form. You want to go to the raw HTML version. Click on it once and it To select everything, there we go, then you want to copy it.

And let's go back to the squeeze page. Give me just a sec to find it. Here we go. Now I'm going to paste it in there. And that's it. That's all I want to do.

As you can see, whenever you click anywhere, it's going to automatically populate everything, and then you just click Insert. Now, your landing page, the place that you're going to use to convert traffic into email subscribers is connected with your autoresponder account. These leads will automatically be added to your autoresponder account as soon as they enter their email a name. The next thing that you need to do is go here to draft and select Publish. Then simply click Save and Continue. And that's going to go ahead and save it.

It's going to say saved, you click OK, and then view public link. You're going to open this in a new tab just to show you what the squeeze page looks like. Now that we have this good looking squeeze page, very simple but actually very effective as well. We are ready to start using it. This is the link that you want to use. This is the link that you want to send people to.

When they come here, they're going to learn about what you want to give them, enter their email and name, get instant access, and they will be automatically added to your autoresponder account as soon as they enter their email and names are going to redirect them automatically to the affiliate offer. As explained in one of the previous videos, usually people just send them to a page where it says thank you for subscribing, but we don't want to be that guy. So we want to send them to an affiliate offer to get them to actually buy so that we have a chance to make money from them right away. This is what they call a self liquidating offer you immediately send them to an affiliate offer and you make your money back thanks to this self liquidating offer formula. Well that's it for me. In this video, I just wanted to show you how to create a super simple and super effective squeeze page that you can really get done in about 10 minutes.

As you could see, maybe the video took a bit longer than 10 minutes, but that's because they explained optimized press anything else, but once you have optimized press, you can knock these off in literally five minutes.
