Hey, welcome back to Tumblr take down in this video, I'm going to talk to you about how to track your Tumblr statistics with Google Analytics. Great tool. So Google Analytics is going to give you custom options that will allow for Google Analytics tracking. Okay, so really all you have to do is sign up for Google Analytics using your Gmail account. You enter your website, name, your industry, your timezone and your Google username, which is your the first part of your email address whatever@gmail.com. Then they'll give you a tracking ID, you're going to copy and paste under your Google Analytics tracking ID on your Tumblr page.

Okay, so Tumblr already has this set. This set up for you just add this to that part of the page. Now with Google Analytics, you can see the stats if people visiting your site, you can see where they're coming from, etc. So Google Analytics is great. Scaling up and improving your progress is all about testing. And tracking.

Okay, so make sure that you have some kind of tracking whether it's the visual Website Optimizer or Google Analytics. We like Google Analytics, obviously, because it's free. But go ahead and get Google Analytics set up on your Tumblr page and you're going to be good to go.
